Want to share with all here an interesting part of the interview with the ZED CEO, Alan Safari, where he answers the question about how does he come to the idea of concept for the ZED network. This IMO shows the potential of the project at all!

"I launched a small digital Money Transfer Operator (MTO) in Canada called ZipZap which was very successful and was getting good user adoption. We were approached by a number of other MTOs in the US and Canada asking if they could license our apps to use for their own clients.
We looked at the value proposition and costs and couldn’t make the numbers work with a typical licensing partnership.  Plus, our mission was to reduce remittance costs not add to it!
It wasn’t until the popularity of tokens and ICOs in 2017 that we were able come up with a plan to license a comprehensive white label solution to the MTOs at no cost that the idea just took off."  

Good to know that the CEO itself has a lot of experience in running this kind of business, it will encourage people to invest in ZED because the team have experienced the problems and found a way to resolve it using modern technologies.

Guys, is there anyone who already bought ZED tokens? Did you receive tokens immediately or do you need to wait for the completion of all sales phases?

Most of the ICO's released tokens after the sales but I'm also wondering about if ZED will issue the tokens earlier because they have a long way to go for completion of the token sale.

I guess this question has been answered by one of the admin on their telegram channel, the tokens will be distributed after the public offering which is 12/30/2019 so it means that the tokens will be distributed on early January 2020.

Don`t think it`s true as they have mentioned that ZED tokens would reach exchanges by the second part of 2019! So, how could tokens be tradeable on the exchange as they will not be distributed to the investors? What is the purpose of listing token on the exchange while nobody could sell their tokens as they will be locked?

Could you clarify if the tokens will not be distributed immediately or will the tokens be locked? It is advisable to confirm your words with proofs.

The project itself will improve the quality as well as to save the internet fees in the future and that really interesting everyone can benefit with that idea.

ZED network offer a fast, secured and low-cost transaction for anyone who use the platform and if I am correct all transaction will be transparent because it will be recorded on the Blockchain.

Zed Network prolong ICO for one more year. Good decision. During that time there wiil be periods of market growth and investors will buy Zed tokens.

They are taking their time to deliver a quality product and you are right about that investors will surely be attracted on the platform because during the long token sale they will realize the true value of this project.

I think the team has planned better than we think right now, even though they are sure they will give us special strengths that make us happy by being involved in the zed project, don't hesitate, let's monitor together

If they are listed on exchange before the token sale ends then I they might really distribute the ZED tokens earlier to its contributors. Did they mention if they already sign an agreement with the exchange? I did not see the information about listing on exchange from the Roadmap though.

I see a lot of projects who just passing by after the ICO but ZED is different as they want to release a working product before the completion of ICO although they had a different approach but they are very skilled and determined to follow the Roadmap and achieve their mission.

Benefits are obvious: instead of having to visit a bank, wait in line, and pay expensive fees, migrant workers can send as many remittances as they want, at amounts they can afford—all from their phone. And the more MTOs will partner ZED the more countries it would be possible to do those cheap remittances transactions.

I always wonder why ZED do not want to be like one more cryptocurrency in the market with low cost for remittances company?
The answer is probably that they target those people, migrant workers who usually sent remittances and a great part of those are low skilled people for which using cryptocurrencies wouldn`t be an easy and convenient solution!
That`s why ZED prefer to make crypto solution for MTOs!

Well just have read that for big players on the remittances market like Western Union, MoneyGram and the banks KYC and AML compliance are almost one of the biggest costs.

The average fee for cross‐border transfer is now about 7 – 8% of the amount. ZED transactions require no mining and cost 1% or less. If the transaction costs on remittances worldwide were cut from an average of 7 – 8% percent to an average of 2-3% percent, it would unlock billions of $ a year only in poor countries.
