I don't think you are that a newbie as you presented it to be,  but the first thing to do, is to secure your wallet, there is no need of getting or acquiring something if you cannot even secure it your self, get hard wallet

The best advice for a beginner is not to rush into investing in large amounts. Better at the beginning, devote yourself to learning crypto currency in this forum. Then you can start trading a little bit.

Newbies come into the market with lots of misguides perception and information that crypto is a get rich quick scheme that will make you rich overnight. Remove that from your head and create a space in you for hard work  and patience as its the only way to get something from crypto, Then watch keenly and learn, there is a lot to be learned especially in this forum as it's rich of people with experience in cryptocurrency follow the tips, grow your profile and have a chance to earn

If you missed the opportunity to sell, it will be followed by another. Exhale, relax. If the cryptocurrency that you bought, the cheaper, re-examine your analysis. How reliable is the development team, is the coin used in real payments? If the project is promising, the value of coins will sooner or later grow. Of course, there are exceptions, but in General, the occurrence of drawdowns is a common practice in investing.

Understand the technology before you make any investment. Look for good ICO projects and DYOR. Invest in them and hold them for long. This is how I followed the rule.

I will advice as a new into crypto space, please take enough time to study and understand the space, crypto space is so volatile and it is wise you understand it very well before making any investment into the space. As a newbie if you don't understand the space your decisions will be based on other people's opinion. It is good you make your own in-formed decision.

The main strategy of working in the market is to constantly learn, read the opinions of experts and traders, make mistakes and achieve perfection. Personally, I came to my own experience.
I agree that your personal development is main thing in dealing with cryptocurrencies. No courses or education can replace your own experience. Big bunch of information can be learned within the years not just in one moment.

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
I don't understand anything. I'm a novice.

The best wallet is 50% in bitcoin / ethereum and 50% in other altcoins. If you investing in ripples be careful because in last time this coin has bad news so in my opinion you should sell this coin and find something better

Hi and welcome,

So far you seem to be better than most, continue researching into anything that interests you, other projects and coins and their roadmaps, teams, etc. It doesn't hurt to learn about markets and technical analysis. People will only shill their holdings and advise you to buy those to better their position. Learn about the best way to protect your investments and you seem to already be doing that with adding a Ledger Nano. Good luck.
If you mean that youre a beginner at bounty hunting. I recommend to you to know first how to do quality posts because in the near time you will know whats the importance of that because as of now there are so many bounty hunter do only spam and other style that is jot good. But you need to rank up first for you to join signature campaigns.

my advice to the newbie, you should often post your rank rank up to jr.member or higher, because if you have jr.member or more you can follow the signature where the prize or pay is bigger. for now just look for the project first.

Thankyou!!!
