as I read now about your thoughts, your knowledge is not for newbie because you invest in different coins in a huge amount and I think for newbie like you there is no one can hold 0.13 btc because that is a huge amount for newbie that wouldn't know about crypto.

Be smart and spend your time on learning, don't be lazy, analyze projects, do not take part in ALL bounties and airdrops.

As a newbie I will advice, you take your time to understand the crypto space before making any investment. When I was a newbie, I was carried away with the space hype and I invested into many wrong projects because i didn't know any thing about the space. if I had waited to learn more about the space, I would have made a whole lot of money by now. So I will advice you wait to learn the space.

One of the tips for beginners will be a careful reading of white paper. Many startups tend to embellish the reality, for example, overestimating the volume of the market they claim, and underestimating the performance of competitors.Evaluating ICO your task is to collect and classify as much information about the project as possible. Scour the forums. The higher the level of discussion among those attracted by the ICO, the better.

If you don't have knowledge better just hold bitcoin only. but as far as I can see the coins you are holding at the moment is a good coin. but remember, that when bitcoin prices increase, altcoin price will fall.

Who invests in cryptocurrencies. How this market works. There is a lot of information about this on the Internet. Of course well if you have a good friend who will help you with this!

The main advice for novices is not to try trading. It is a very difficult job even for experienced people. But obviously your luck is good. You have gained a lot of benefits, so I think you can choose to invest in Ethereum or Bitcoin for a long time.

Be calm and do not rush to invest. Learn how to do it right by reading the forum. Participate in bounty campaigns and airdrops. Read more about projects before deciding to buy them or not.

Actually, you have started on a good note, you just need to be patient with any investments you make for you not to loose anything, my sincere advice to you is that you should try to diversify your investment... Don't put all your money on one project and try as much to make your research on any projects you are embarking on. Sky is the limit.

My advice for newbies is that you try to build your rank upward by making constructive comments concerning cryptocurrency. Secondly, you can also build up your rank by participating in bounties that accepts newbies, do the needful as instructed concerning the bounties and make sure to submit your reports within the stipulated time.

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
I have one piece of advice for you. Try to thoroughly study what cryptocurrency is and how to use them. Then if you want to invest in any project, then before that, study the project well.

My advice  are  research a good campaign you want to join. Dont trust people easily. If you invest it. Be carefulyou might he scammed. So in my opinion better keep your money or coins first before investing.
