When you have accumulated enough trading experience and have enough knowledge of this market, then you can choose to continue investing. The current market is a good time to invest. The risk of investing in ICOs is too high. I suggest that you can invest in the top 10 cryptocurrencies. I believe that you will see the gains soon.

I'm newbies like you, but before I got into crypto I did a lot of research for months. I will advice before investing into any token, do proper findings on the founders, check their profiles on LinkedIn, consider their White paper and roadmap. Their advisors, their affiliate partners or members, their blockchain and project experience, follow the project on social media like reddit, telegram, Facebook, Twitter bitcointalk etc.in a nutshell do proper research and analyse the prospect of the project before investing and don't transfer any contribution to wallet send to you on social media rather login on the company's site and a procedure on how to get their token will be disclose to you.

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
Just read amd continue to read and post because patience and effort is all you need to have for you to gain positions and earn money.

read a lot about bitcoin in bitcointalk forum, dig up and understand every thing you want to know, do not be shy to ask to anybody else in forums, taking invest is more luck if you are sure and understand, beside  also you sell token at the time you think is right, do not ever be affected in others because your self confidence will determine your level of success in the future

My advise is that you should be focused in bitcoin or in ethereum , those coin has a credibility in the market in terms of potential so you can earn a lot of profits by investing your money to that coin and I think you should do a lot of research regarding your investment to help your journey here in crypto.

So far, I think your in a good start. In fact, I think your way better started than I am. Just keep doing what your doing because it looks effective based on coins that you have. Continue investing and learn more about it. You can also try day trading and long term investing. You should also check some promising ICOs that you can invest in.

I will advice that you should learn how to trade, that does not mean you are becoming a trade, it simply mean you will be able to recognize the best time to take advantage of price and further solidify your portfolio!

To improve more on your knowledge of crypto as a newbie, you should participate more in the bitcoin talk forum to have more understanding as suggestions will be raised on different topics that you can learn from and it is not necessary you follow all suggestions given but you can build an idea on them. You should also try to always to your own research about a coin or project before you invest in it.

0.13 btc and 2 ETH is enough start capital for investment.I know a lot of persons who started with less capital.I would suggest you invest your time first of all to research projects on crypto before starting with cash.It protects you from avoidable losses.

Indeed. For newbies, research and study is the key to understand about the topics given in some bitcoin talks. You must understand and read descriptions about a certain topic or project to earn ideas where to invest and what coins are trusted. Enhance your capabilities on coins to know which coin is reliable and to know where can you earn bigger profits and to prevent being scammed.

You were good back then for buying those coins because later in december 2017, the spiking price in crypto began.
you should not concentrate on 1 coin only. Putting your all your investment to bitcoin is not good.
just stay like that, diversifying your investment. And the ledger nano s is a good choice to keep your coins.

The most basic and golden rule of investment is never put all your eggs in one basket. Always diversify. This way, you will be able to increase your chances of getting higher returns and the same time, lowering your exposure to loss.

There is no harm if you will continue to increase your crypto currency deposits. It is very good for you to hold so that when the price goes up then you can sell it. Later when the price drops again then you can buy for you save until the price is high again. Although it is the path that you choose but I still recommend you to learn about investing and trading. Maybe, one day you are interested to get a bigger profit then both of things you can try.

The main thing is not to panic and listen to the advice of experienced entrepreneurs, to act as they tell you, I think so. Everything will turn out!
Do not panic this is good advice. But whether to listen to the entrepreneurs is a very contentious issue. Different people have different situations so the same actions have different consequences for different people. I think that decisions must be made independently. Another's opinion can only be an assistant in this.
