Alright everyone, as most of you know, our main websites visual appearance has been updated recently, but the content still need some work. I've been in contact with April, Togo and Thomas to ensure that our website can become something that we all can be proud of! In order to do that, we could use the help of the community April had the great idea that we should make a so called boilerplate: http://dkrcommunications.com/how-to-write-an-effective-boilerplate/A boilerplate is basically a one-paragraph outline of what we are and what we do. It's a static chunk of information that will pop up in numerous places (mostly on the bottom): on our website, in newsletters, in press-releases, etc. It should give people the possibility to quickly be able to find out what we are about. Thomas has created a whole new section on our forum called 'Website Enhancements & Suggestions', and I'd like to invite everyone who wants to, to help us write a catchy oneliner and boilerplate, so that we can really show the world what we are about. http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?board=8.0

Just want to confirm, these are the new block reward percentages?
20% for budgets (Proposal/Budget Monthly Superblock) 38% for DC (Distributed Computing [Cancer Research], Daily Superblock) 4% for POW (Proof of Work) 38% for Sancs (Sanctuaries/Masternodes)
Hi, I'm new on BiblePay and I am getting more and more interest. Would you mind to explain a bit more each of these lines? Just to know what does it mean for someone with little experience in this area. Thanks!!!

This getboincinfo is after send podcupdate and before 6 confirmation, this is why is show UTXO 0. I have one wallet running 24/7 in datacenter. Today I send 3 PODC Update Still on superblock view I have magnitude 0 , and UTXO 0 I don't send any cash , still have more than 1.6mln BBP on my wallet (1.5mln for sanctuary and I now have only payouts from sanctuary). 13:15:41  { "Command": "getboincinfo", "CPID": "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b", "Address": "BRxF8ySAUZWZPLSrnZXJK5DPiN2PtiV2CQ", "CPIDS": "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b;", "CPID-Age (hours)": 422604, "NextSuperblockHeight": 35260, "NextSuperblockBudget": 1197260, "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b_ADDRESS": "BRxF8ySAUZWZPLSrnZXJK5DPiN2PtiV2CQ", "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b_RAC": 9447.85, "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b_TEAM": 15044, "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b_TaskWeight": 100, "16da1eaf50e5db0a0c7ed7a1aaf8586b_UTXOWeight": 50003, "Total_RAC": 9447.85, "Total Payments (One Day)": 0, "Total Payments (One Week)": 4984, "Total Budget (One Day)": 2660579, "Total Budget (One Week)": 13302895, "Superblock Count (One Week)": 6, "Superblock Hit Count (One Week)": 6, "Superblock List": "35055,34850,34645,34440,34235,34030", "Last Superblock Height": 35055, "Last Superblock Budget": 2660579, "Last Superblock Payment": 0, "Magnitude (One-Day)": 0, "Magnitude (One-Week)": 0.3746552911978934 }
Just before superblock, my wallet send PODCUpdate. And now I don't have any payout. Also I was on superblock view before 35260 block. This is ok ? Hmm... Weird that you first got a payment and didn't get one after that. Sanctuaries agree on a superblock payout once every 24 hours, but it can vary when in those 24 hours the agreement takes place. PODC-updates should be valid for 24 hours if I'm correct. Can you check if your PODC-updates are a maximum of 24 hours apart? Yeah, I have one break with more 24h ... from 16.03 15:30 (CEST) up to 18.03 03:42 (CEST). So maybe is this problem. I will check today payout and keep running miner with genproclimit=2

Hi, I'm new on BiblePay and I am getting more and more interest. Would you mind to explain a bit more each of these lines? Just to know what does it mean for someone with little experience in this area. Thanks!!! I'll give it a shot 20% for budgets (Proposal/Budget Monthly Superblock)20% of all BBP is generated in a so-called superblock. It's 'super' because it contains A LOT of BBP in one block. The next superblock will be 15+ million BBP. These BBP are subdivided into different categories: 50% goes to charity (currently compassion.com and BLOOM, and soon probably also CameroonONE will be added to that list). The other 50% currently mainly goes to PR (creating awareness for Biblepay) and IT (developer payroll, creating websites etc). Everyone can get access to this 20%. All you need to do, is to create a proposal on pool.biblepay.org and request BBP for whatever project you think is beneficial to Biblepay. After your proposal is submitted (it costs 2500 BBP to submit a proposal), the Sanctuaries (masternodes) will be able to vote 'yes' or 'no' to your proposal. If a majority (don't know the exact math from the top of my head) vote 'yes', you get your BBP. The rest (80% of all generated BBP) is created in normal blocks, which are divided in the following categories: 38% for DC (Distributed Computing [Cancer Research], Daily Superblock)
38% of all BBP goes to people who are helping Rosetta@home by installing Boinc on their computers and let it use their CPU-power. In order to get BBP, they need to associate their CPID through a Biblepay-wallet. 4% for POW (Proof of Work)4% of all BBP goes to people who 'heat mine'. This is needed for the security of the network and to create new blocks. Because everyone that wants to earn BBP by running Boinc needs to also run a wallet that is also mining 24/7 (this is needed to send their rosetta@home updates to the Biblepay network), researchers are also heat-miners at the same time. But you can also heat-mine more if you want, and there are people doing this. 38% for Sancs (Sanctuaries/Masternodes)Sanctuaries have different functions. One of them is the voting-power explained above. But they also accommodate an extra level of security to the network, create the CD superblocks, enable sending BBP anonymous, and many other things. It costs 1.550.000 BBP to create a masternode, and in return you get 38% of the generated BBP (divided by the number of total masternodes) and a seat at the 'voting table'.

Interesting article on who is actually buying cryptos: Fewer Americans Hold Cryptocurrencies Than You Probably Think https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-03-16/fewer-americans-hold-cryptocurrencies-than-you-probably-thinkMore than 90 percent of American adults don’t own cryptocurrencies -- and most have a lot of concerns about the coins, a new survey from Finder found. Overall, only about 8 percent of the U.S. population has invested in digital tokens such as Bitcoin that have dominated headlines for the past year with more than 1,000 percent gains before many of the speculative assets collapsed in price the past few months. The study found that the majority of crypto buyers are Millennials, with more than 17 percent claiming to have holdings, as compared with 8.75 percent of Gen Xers and 2.24 percent of Baby Boomers. Of those who took the plunge, most invested in Bitcoin or Ether coins.

Just before superblock, my wallet send PODCUpdate. And now I don't have any payout. Also I was on superblock view before 35260 block. This is ok ? The PODC transmission for UTXO Weight and Task weight is Valid for 24 hours once transmitted, but it does not go into effect in Sanctuaries quick enough to rely on sending it right before a superblock. Not only does it take 6 confirms to be valid, but it takes 10 hours or so for the sancs to actually ingest the information and effectively vote on it. They are voting on data that is 12-23 hours old. They have a consensus mechanism that lines up the data to keep it from changing. So that would explain how you were skipped in the last superblock. Btw, Im working on History per CPID now, so you can chart your UTXO Weight, Task Weight, and Magnitude across time, and actually see the "pit" in the data. Pardon the Pun, dropping into the Pit is not fun, but its better if our CPIDs drop in the pit than our souls so please consider sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all your friends.

A wonderful and thought provoking video (as always) by Kurzgesagt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvskMHn0sqQI couldn't help but think about BiblePay throughout the video, to the point where I thought the video could be titled: How is BiblePay Making the World a Better PlaceThey go over a few topics very related to what BiblePay is actually doing - helping those in need and cancer research. I think everyone involved in BiblePay who has 7 minutes of time should watch this video, because it shows us how much we are actually changing the world when we contribute to the BiblePay project. Its a good video, but its too bad we have GM crops in the midst of the industrial revolution, yet overall the net energy gain from automation increased the quality of life, but I think we are also a couple minutes away from Armageddon with our own devices.

this error means that you dont have enough coins to stake (not staked coins), so if you have 50k coins and stake 20k coins, then if you change config to stake 50k it failes because you have only 30k not staked... you need to wait for all coins will be again available, check exec stakebalance to see how many.. and then do podcupdate it works for me in this way

I think this is one of those situations where Rob cannot win! If he waits until 1st April then people are upset that we have to wait so long. If he changes early then people complain that he cut the vote short and accuse of removing democrazy. Better to just stick with whatever date is set already, in my opinion.
