Except that link is almost a year old, and one of the justifications BEHIND the ASIC block was to fix profitability for CPU miners. Which, as was just mentioned, is INCREDIBLY relevant to BBP holders.
youre next guy on drugs = that link is only refresher ... OMG next newbie

1.AMD EPYC 7601= newest CPU from AMD

MONERO is nonprofitabile for CPU
And the article NEXT to it - published the same day, on GPU mining:
https://cryptomining24.net/hashrate-graphics-card-on-monero/

Think that's current too? Or somehow that one is old and the other one isn't? You see, when the GPU/ASIC mining gets shut down, the CPU mining balance shifts, restoring profitability, as it happens to everyone equally.

In any event, let's plug that CPU you mentioned into this calculator. Now I haven't verified these numbers, but it looks awfully profitable to me.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=3500&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=336&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

zthomas   why you used so bad hosting?(godaddy is nice crap) very slow  Roll Eyes

I didn't choose the hosting plan for the website ... alternative hosting options may be considered once the new site (under construction) is completed.

and 3times writing here about
move down this, from reason of overlaps

Will you post a screenshot of the problem ... also what device and browser are you using?

We dont have a hosting problem for www.biblepay.org.  That server is way overpowered for what we are serving.

Its more of a "wordpress plugin" issue, I think all we have to do is disable a couple plugins for higher performance.

We are basically hosting 2 pages on a high end linux box (we have the highest plan and its all for biblepay.org only).

how can I associate RAH cpid to WCG if i already had an old account with WCG? Is there a risk the rah cpid be replaced by wcg cpid and so the credit get lost?

So is there any issues with the Bible pay pool (https://pool.biblepay.org). The pool leaderboard shows my miners are working and pulling shares but I have not mined one coin in the past 24 hours?

Just ensure your WCG e-mail is set correctly, go to wcg web portal, and look for cross-project-id.  Ensure it matches your 'exec getboincinfo' cpid?

If so you are good.

So how do I fix the MAG, I have two wallets with 1000 BBP and one wallet with 155,000BBP in it , all cpu are up and running well shouldn’t I be producing enough MAG to mine some BBP? Any debug commands I need to use to determine the issue?

Hi, you need to sign up for Boinc and have a valid cpid to mine. See instructions here

The UTXO reward level is in the wiki guide under "UTXO Reward Chart":

http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_Computing

I see that, but what is the calc that determines payout from the available masterblock pool?

Your magnitude is the determining factor.  Zthomasz asked about the magnitude calculation a few pages back.

"Magnitude is computed by assessing the Individual Researchers Share of RAC * 1000"

Source: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_Computing_Start_Guide

Is the "Individual Researchers Share of RAC" the same as "AVGRac" at BiblePay Pool?
The Individuals Share of RAC formula is:

ModifiedRAC/TotalRAC  *  1000

(Your Modified RAC = UTXO depressed RAC for RAH  +  WCG).

Both of these columns above are exposed in the superblock view report in the pool.

Already have boinc and valid CPID, which I got a few weeks back and was mining fine until the last 48 hrs.

You just need to solve a few tasks and have magnitude > 0, and be in the superblock.

Then the error message will go away.

Basically, up until the patch was applied to the pool, CPIDS with no magnitude were not actually pulling any weight for the pool.

How is MAG determined?   I seem to have 2.5,  but the number is meaningless to me Smiley

Happy Belated Passover All!  We made it through.

https://www.gotquestions.org/what-is-Passover.html

Isn't it interesting that God asked the Israelite's to smear lambs blood on the outside door frames, and this caused the Angel of Death or
the Destroyer to pass over that particular house.  So back in the days of the Law, you had to listen carefully to Gods instructions, and back then a sacrifice of blood was atonement for sin.

Now Jesus died for us, and its interesting that he was crucified the day before passover, and he was our sacrificial lamb.  We are saved by his sin offering.

In the same manner as the Lamb's blood saved the Israelite's, could it not be a coincidence that he, being the Lamb of God, died for us at exactly the beginning of passover?   I think God's schedule is right on time.  Another miracle designed by God.

Thanks Rob this will be useful. We just need to implement getutxos in the block explorer so mobile app can sweep paper wallets, and then publish the app for antroid in Google Play.

The mnemonic.html tool is used to recover your mobile wallet private keys from your 12-word seed. But this tool should be used only in case of extreme need, as it is potentially unsafe to have your private keys exposed, even if it's in your own offline PC. BIP32 derivation path used by Breadwallet is m/0'/0 for main addresses and m/0'/1 for change addresses.

For iOS, I still have to decide which way to go, using the older breadwallet sources we have. Whatever the decision it will take a bit longer than I had expected.

guys, is there any tutorial how to setup WCG ?
i want to try it out on one-two machines and compare (as i have few exactly same machines)

It's almost the same as setting up Rosetta@home.

On linux, run the usual installation you can find here:
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_Computing_2

But use the WCG address instead:
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org

So for example:

Get account key:
Code:

 boinccmd --lookup_account http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org USRNAME PWD

Attach project:
Code:
boinccmd --project_attach http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org <Account Key>

i did it and it is computing now, but should i somehow connect it with roseta or bbp or what? because i could not see that i'm participating to two projects, it looks like i have 2 different accounts
