MEC just lost 20% of it's value from the last time I posted in this thread

Maybe you'll be able to afford 20 MEC next time.  Grin

Most other coins seem to be down at this point too. My other favorite, CGB has lost quite a bit. Great buying opportunity...

Personally I enjoy the suspense because it allows me to pick up discount MEC when the sheep panic.

If you actually look, there isn't even that much cheap MEC out there. People are trickling some out...but it wouldn't take much at all to buy it up all the way to the 0.00009 line (if one were so inclined.) The price is definitely deceiving -- we'll be over 0.0001 in no time. Until then, I wish it would just keep dipping lower (or at least hold steady) so we can continue to mine at this low difficulty. I stopped buying because I don't want the price to inflate too soon and have the multipools/hoppers slam things. It's not worth it to me to buy 72 MEC at the bargain price of 0.00005350 if it means it will inflate the perceived value -- we're better off letting that pocket change sit there and reflect these below-value prices.

I'm sure it's all part of somebody's plan...but now that things are rolling I'm really liking where we're at. If you're buying these small pockets of MEC you're shooting yourself in the foot if you're also mining it. Now if somebody tosses up 10k at those prices that's another story (I just bought a majority chunk of somebody's 8k earlier today at a criminally low price.)

Thanks, Kimoto.

Oh, I still miss the easy backup function from two versions ago. Any chance of seeing that again? If the function is still there it's nothing more then a gui addition?

Also, joined the Gr33k pool again. Let's see if I can beat my all time record there of 6 MΣC  Grin
