How to stop ICO ?

every single day ICO projects always appear with their respective advantages. but in fact, many are experiencing failure in the end. they just waste time and spend money to advertise? how about you're opinion

You can't stop ICO.
Countries can regulate ICO but it can't stop it.
Even with regulation there will always be illegal crowdfundings.
Don't be so sure they are wasting money on advertising, so far i haven't seen ico which hasn't raised at least money to cover advertising expenses.

if they are wasting money on advertising it is a lesson for the team and evidence that new investors are more selective in ICO investments

Stoping ICO is like stopping innovation!

I think so too. ICO is an opportunity to develop new promising projects that will give great benefit to humanity. Just need to carefully study the project before supporting it! Success will only receive the right ideas.

I think that most governments will put a blanket on ICO's, some have even gone ahead with it and banned its citizens to participate in ICO's. Moreover as crypto matures with time most crypto investors will get smart enough to distinguish between real and fake ICO's.

It`s not a secret that 90% of ICO are SCAM / Unsuccessful project. Before invest - firstly explore team and white paper. If project is going to use escrow - it`s definitely positive sign.

Last time I do not participate in ICO. My experience shows not the stability of this sphere. I bought coins in one promising project, they promised dividends every week. However, soon changed the rules of the game. No payment to coin holders. I'm not disappointed. But I read a lot and look for potentially progressive ICO.

Sometimes I think that ICO investment is more like gambling than investment because basically we buy goods that have not got sale value, minimal analysis, and only rely on the hope that too grandiose / fortune fate ..
But if there is no ico I think the bitcoin price will not be high.

Developer can stop ICO. Sometimes there is an ICO that destroy itself if cap is not reached which means community don't like the project. In few countries, their government already banned an ICO.

If you do not believe the ico, you dont have to invest anything. Market will find the middle point by itself. Nobody can stop any ico.

i do agree ico is unstopable. more ico means more business wanna try blockchain to develop their own business. its a good news for allof cryptocurrency investor. that means cryptocurrency are used and develop

You can't stop it, even regulators can not stop it. People themselves are the only ones feeding this system, so the initiative has to come from them.

That's a free market, and in a free market, people who don't listen learn from mistakes.

Some companies are starting their ICOs because it's a good way of gathering funds besides from finding stock investors. ICOs are good for gathering funds because a lot of people even if it's small or big can contribute in the project. Maybe someday in the future, ICOs will be regulated because it's true that there are hundreds of new ICOs popping out each day and because of this even good projects don't become successful because investments are diversified.

sure most of the ico's now are random ideas thrown into a single basket but there are also ico's with good concept and ideas like bitbay also ethereum made an ico before look ethereum now its a successful coin lets just wait for good ico to come out and bad ico's arent bad if we will not gonna invest on them.

Well you cant stop people to have ICOs but you can stop yourself to join these ICOs.I stopped joining ICOs a long time a go i find it a waste of time and money,its like gambling i pray to have ICO regulatory board to filter these stupid ICOS.

As you know its a free market and it will regulate itself. But i think there will be some new rules regarding ICOs due to which this situation will not be there in future. So till that explore more about the projects in which you will be willing to invest.

it is the risk of the entrepreneurs and many of them struggling successfully in the sale of coin / tokens on the project but not a few also I think ico who appear to get a loss from the results of their efforts.

An ICO will be successful if the investors who invest a lot into it.
But sometimes we just waste time just waiting because the ICO that failed

you cant stop people from making a new invention, yeah some of them likely scam but you cant avoid fact there many ico end successfully and make their invention work, the only think you can do is choose wisely what project you want to invest, always becarfull read their whitepaper first

an easy way to collect funds without legal document,
maybe need a regulations for anyone who want to create an ICO project,
so there will be a filter for ICO

To my mind that 95% or 98%. Is an escrow is always a good sign? May it be just a purchased person?

100% strongly agree with your opinion, I am also very confused to see the current ICO, and the whale investors are very lazy to invest on the current ICO, I saw on the sub-board Announcement, about tens of ICO appeared every day, and I see not none of these ICOs that have good potential, they just want the quick money, without thinking about how their coins to the fore
