I choose both bitcoin and ethereum, bitcoin is good to traded for short term and you can get a lot of money from it.
and ethereum is good to hold for the long term.

Your budget and targeted timing should explicitly show you which to choose.

If you have 12,000USD to invest and you want a return in 2weeks then you know where to stick it. But if your exit timing is 12months and with 2000USD i'd say just put into ETH please or even LISK.

if you want trade bitcoin with pair fiat money, need big capital money if want get big profit

NO WAY eth is going to stay this low.  And the fact it was ICO'd doesn't mean a thing really    XEM ico price was once $8 per 2.4 million XEM.  You do the math...

- Eth actually is used
- contracts
- all the ico's tokens on eth (no matter how shady)
- all the real world investment initiatives (again: contracts)
- didn't moon yet (and yes I know it was once $2/eth, I had 100's but sold, silly me)
- etc etc

ETH is now where BTC was when it was $1000...

I do ICO's, invest in a lot in order to achieve one goal: ...get.more.eth...

And I'm not even touching the psychological/sociological impact: btc too expensive but this whole cryptoworld looks cool so what's the next best thing- kind of reasoning.  Remember litecoin in 2013 when it was $3 and btc mooned?  I do: it went to $40, maybe a month after btc started mooning.

ofcourse btc is much more ok than eth. right now btc price is moving at a faster pace compared to previous months. So its muh better if you would go for eth to make profit much faster

It's much easier to invest in the two coins at the same time. It's better to just invest in Bitcoin because there is an uptrend on the price already.

Right now both coins are bullish but in the near future I'm expecting this run to turn over. It's too risky to hold in coins but I'm still holding %35 of my portfolio in coins. I hope we can get out before crash. I wouldn't suggest you to buy more at this time.

If you want to get profits, buy Bitcoin. If you want a coin that you can't send anywhere, buy ETH. Cryptokittens are blocking the ETH network.
And just look how many ETH do you need to buy a Bitcoin now? Maybe 40 ETH for 1 BTC. And it is going to be much more after Bitcoin is going to jump.

I would go for bitcoin and not ethereum because bitcoin is a very great asset and it is already tested by a lot of people and it is proven for being a good asset and investment for long term purposes. Bitcoin could be possibly the future of our money because it can develop a lot of things that can be use in the future because of the blockchain technology.

No one is voting for the ethereum and this show the seriousness of people about bitcoin and in future this will increase more as the price of bitcoin rise more and the community become more dense then maybe ethereum get a chance to glow a bit but remember one thing bitcoin will stay on the throne of crypto forever because it has delivered more than people expect and all these are reason to not to vote to ethereum.

You obviously haven't been in crypto very long if you think ethereum is slow. Ethereum went up 5000% in the first half of 2017. Bitcoins almost done its turn and now its almost time for ethereum to explode again. It's simple sell bitcoin high buy ethereum now low. The cycle continues.....zoom out on the charts

Btc does not always dominate the market. For me, most of the investments are in ETH and its assets, but this is wrong investment.

In general there are more people who concentrate on bitcoin yet when you visit and look at the diagrams you could understand that etherium value take off more than bitcoin. So in all probability, experienced dealer check the capability of etherium and its guarantee of no constraint. Notwithstanding, with regards to value swings, I would most likely still go into bitcoin, I think some bit of the cost of etherium depends on the present cost of bitcoin, which toward the end makes the bitcoin still the king.
