Punin, I noticed that you are no longer selling raw chips, is that going to change or you'll stick to selling equipment only?

PCBs are not problem. I still considering the purchase of chips. But we have no guarantee that Metabank or other large customer does not put hands on the majority produced chips.
In effect at October  we will be in the same situation as it is today with Avalon. I do not know which is worse, do business with Chinese people or the Russians?
We honor our promised timetables to our bulk chip customers so much, that we have set a self-imposed fine for missing the dates promised.

I don't know if I want to do business with someone with such prejudice based on some racial or cultural stereotypes. I'm half russian and I like chinese. Maybe you'll enjoy doing business with a  100% USA company instead?

Punin, can you give a guarantee that the ordered chips will go to the customer on time and in the right order, since most of the product from your shop with August delivery was moved to a shop in the US and is no longer available to us ?

You are making strange conclusions here. We did not have much chips in august to begin with. Those that we had were pretty much split 50%-50% between me and Dave.
No chip on both shop. As I predict 3 day ago, no chip for miners. Big greedy companies take all Sad
In effect rising difficulty kill small project still waiting for chip supply. I hope Bitfury did not go Avalon path.

Saying about difficulty to make business with some nations I based on my personal experience  rather  some racial or cultural stereotypes.
I have many friends on Russian and Ukraine, Chinese to. This has nothing to do with the analysis of business risk.
Unfortunately, I have very bad experience with doing business with the Russians. I lost not only money but also reputation in recommending cooperation with those whom I have given confidence.
Looking at what is currently doing Bitsyncom, I  wonder that the transfer of interests with them to the Russians will not be fall out of the frying pan into the fire.

Gandalf - no nation is perfect. I've had good and bad relations with people from all over the world. Anything else would be just a personal and a biased opinion, and that doesn't help anyone, so let's forget about that.
As the English say - There are no eternal friends or eternal enemies,.. only eternal interests.

As for chips and availability - I'll repost here something that I posted on another forum:
Also - according to google translate this:
Кcтaти, дoля bitfury-чипoв в ceти дoвoльнo мaлeнькaя и пocлeднee yвeличeниe cлoжнocти этo чьи-тo чyжиe мoщнocти.

supposedly says that chips for EU and US will be available only from the next batch (...)

So, if that's true I'd like to hear from punin or Dave or anyone else in-the-know where things stand. I'm looking for a reasonable expectation. If the sad facts are that there won't be any chips before December - so be it, that's the facts. I'd rather know the ugly truth than have false hopes.

We will resume chip sales soon.

Will the chip-preorders that were made while they were on sale be honored, or will the purchasers be redirected to other products or a refund?

If i order a starter kit or full mining kit from megabigpower, would i get the equipment by early October or late October? Which one. And, would i get it the same time as everyone else who ordered an October unit?

Most likely late October since 100TH (mining company) mining gear has been delayed by 1 month, too.

This has been somehow taken out of context, and is not true. I have no time to go into investigating this more. We have all the chips that we need for august orders, and october chips are in production.

in fact

i was promissed 100 ths of chips by bitfury for a certain price.while the time of delivery was approaching he decided to increase the price X5 and has make me waste 3/4 months and have delayed my own project.

so i can only agree with you abt the fact that greed is dangerous and no matter what people says while they can earn somehow what is the use of respecting their own words/comitment?

When shopping for a PC power supply, don't look at the total power, but check the manual for the power that's available on the +12V wires. It is usually less. Also, when have a multi-voltage supply, like a regular PC PSU, and you only draw power from the 12V, the voltage may drop more than in an application where the 5V and 3.3V is also loaded. The H-CARDs don't mind if the voltage drops a bit, but you'll get increased current, and this stresses the PSU even more.

Happy with your c-scape product ? Consider a tip: 16X2FWVRz6UzPWsu4WjKBMJatR7UvyKzcy

Quick update:

Good news everyone! Got the M-board v2.2 today! Bloody thing seems to work! (at least it powers up RasPi and feeds fans correctly). I still need some H-boards for final test though.

The fab managed to lose some of the silkscreen (printed graphics on board) unfortunately. There was supposed to be a text "ATTENTION!! Read instructions before assembly!" Now it's just "ATTENTION!!" Sad. And also, just by the PCIe power connectors there was a text "Please use both 12V connectors & PCI polarity" which got truncated to "Please use both". There was a small tribute to Satoshi also, which got truncated. Mental note: Do not use text with multiple lines.

I'm going to China next week to check our 2nd production line for H-boards, and before that I'll try prepare as much as I can for testing and sending these beasts out to you.

Got some other goodies for you as well.. As you may already know, Foofighter has been working on a case for our miner for quite some time. We have pretty much finalized the design now, and I'm waiting for a quote from a few local metalworks companies. I'm really happy with how it looks, and it should help you get best results from the boards. It could be that we get them manufactured just in time, so that for those of you who want a case, you'll be able to add one to the kit and have it all shipped together. Price is still TBD, as I have no quote from the metalworks yet.

I'll finish it off with some pics:
