Order 220 just received. The august delivery promise was kept, but it was a close call. Got a starter kit with two H-boards, which greatly overdelivers the promised hashrate. The unit is hashing at around 40GH/s (+-3GH/s). Setup was really easy with the simple web interface, I just input my pools there and restarted the miner.

I'd like to invite everyone who is going to receive a unit to use a small pool and/or p2pool if the miner inside the unit can work with it.

There are several small pools, pools with less than 50 TH/s of capacity, which should/need to grow to be able to balance the one or two mega-pools available.

This is for the health of the bitcoin network, most of all, and given that BitFury is delivering several TH/s of hashing power this is a good moment for this call to arms Smiley

I'm not sure if it small enough, but I intend to plug my Bitfury into Slush's pool.

Thumbs up for the effort!

About the October deliveries - do you expect the Gh/s issue per H-Board to be solved by then? I have bunch of people with only H-Boards ordered, that would use my spare slots in the Starter Kit. If they receive more cards than they order, there would be nowhere to put the excess Boards...

I drove to get my starter kit today, short update after 1h of running:

I got two h-boards for a total of 46-47Ghs. It's pulling 50-52w off the wall. Setup was a cakewalk when compared to my fpga experience.

Bitcoin trinkets now on my online store: btc trinkets.com <- Bitcoin Tiepins, cufflinks, lapel pins, keychains, card holders and challenge coins.

Most of the shipment left the building, and should be on it's way to you by airplane later tonight.

I will be contacting those of you who might have gotten a shipment notice, but no shipment was actually sent out. This is because the automated CSV export exported also those orders that were combined. I think we got 99% shipped correctly, and I will communicate with those of you who might have confusing orders. Some few orders will ship on monday.

I want to thank you all for your support and patience as we practice serving you. We've learned a lot in this process, and hopefully future shipments will be less painful Smiley

We're now going to celebrate with my team here a bit.. been amazingly busy week.

Cheers!

Expected delivery 05.09.
Few days late but ~40 GH/s instead of 25. Well, that's just awesome. Smiley

Thank you and your team, Punin. Fantastic job!!

BTW, does anyone recommend a good, reliable p2ppool? I heard some miners don't perform well on them due to latency issues.

I received today order #221 which was for a 25GH Starter Kit. Like others, I got 2 boards, and they're happily mining at about 40 GHash/s total. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank punin for the awesome job!

mikef: you may want to put the second H-Board into Bus B, slot one. It will cool itself better and it may even have positive impact on hashing speed, if I understand correctly.
