An automated system is coming, and it will most likely have a 0.5% fee, with no minimum.

Fees, fees, fees.

Put the fee on the seller as it was with BitFunder.

Off topic a little, but I did use funds generated by LRM!

I managed to haul my fat gimpy ass down to the opening of the world's first BTC ATM today, and strangely enough, they told me that I am the first customer to sell BTC for fiat on one of these machines.  Didn't get a prize, but I will frame the receipt and the $$, since to me it's kind of a big deal.

Enjoy...

Obligatory Pizza purchase, just to score another first.  Keeping one of the $20s, and spent the other on 2 pizzas.
Found a nice background for it Smiley

Dirty Fiat indeed!

Was thinking about buying a pizza with the Fiat, to keep the tradition going -- so one $20 for pizza and frame the other $20 along with the receipt from the ATM as a record of the first public BTC-->Fiat ATM transaction.

grnbrg.

PS:  I haven't traded on BitcoinTalk, so I don't have an official reputation here, but I did run a shipping pool on the BFL forums.  42 BTC went through that thread.  So I do have at least some track record with other people's money.

fuck me.. 42BTC.. glad I didn't throw any coin at that bullshit ! Wink

I've sent my verification email now that most should have already been validated.

I just want to express... as a small quantity holder... I feel screwed out of what should have been decent dividends for these last few weeks... I have received NOTHING and now that difficulty is racing due to BFL finally catching up and the rest of the vendors coming out... LRM is only going to play a chasing game... it feels like having less than 20 bonds is not even worth the time it took to buy the few I own...

Those with less than 20 bonds should be entitled to refuse payout until a certain threshold of BTC has been reached... instead of getting nothing week after week because of these new fees... it is not right IDC how much work you say it is... this whole Bitfunder issue has ruined what I thought was going to be a decent, small time investment.

Here is my request... tally my earnings and payout my dividends once a month not weekly... I don't feel like losing part of it to fees when it is a VERY small amount to begin with... I feel I paid for bonds that only return enough to pay their own fees... and continue to lose face value.

You only missed out on one week of dividends by being a small quantity holder (the week with the fee). No other weeks have this fee, so if you missed additional dividends due to late verification, you will be back-paid dividends for those weeks.

Whole thing still seems scammy.

We all, including Lab_Rat, know that he screwed up with those ridiculous transaction fees instead of doing a single multi-transaction. What he *should* do is repay the silly fee he charged by adding it to the next dividend payment. Admit he screwed up and eat the fee as part of his 25% rake. There's nothing stopping him from doing that. Except, perhaps, greed. Let's see what he does.

That's kinda creepy with the hand scan. Can you use it without doing a hand scan? For example, using only a QR code?

It requires the hand scan to placate the government (they are being proactive), so no, you can't do it without the scanner.

I had a chance to chat with the programmer, and he told me that the machine actually does two types of scans on your hand.  It looks at vein patterns, which only the computer ever sees, and an optical scan, which rolls off after 1000 images, so is not stored for long.

The USA may also see this machine in the not too distant future.  It will include what we in Canada have, plus a scanner for government issued ID.

No rumors about it, this bitfury's hardware was the one that was supposed to receive it this month and the same hardware about the votation for not to pay dividends for 2 week with the earnings of this incoming hardware.

Heya bob.

Yeah, it was a pretty big deal here.  I've updated the images with one more Wink

...and so as not to upset anyone too much, might I add, I wonder how many TH/s Dave will be pointing our way?

Is it possible you missed M31's point when he said he was the first to SELL BTC for fiat from the ATM machine? Everyone else prior to him bought BTC.

"I should be receiving ~12TH of H-Boards which is roughly 480 boards between Mon and Wed with M-Boards following a day or 2 behind"

Did this come true or are we still waiting?
