Hi Guys,
I recently traveled to California for a nice vacation and to meet up with some companies such as Terrahash, HashFast, and also some local bitcoiners. While planning this trip I also tried to meet up with Ken but I arrived the day he was leaving I believe. However, one of the bitcoiners that I knew up here who wishes to remain anonymous is also a Silicon-Valley based engineer and in my opinion very well versed in the world of ASICs, was able to meet up with Ken for me.
I asked him to give me an overview of how he felt about Ken and the ASIC project he is working on in a nutshell. He confirmed with me that Ken is the real deal and that based on the conversation that was had, he doesn’t see any reason to think otherwise.
Now I know this might not sound like much but in my opinion if Ken can make this particular Engineer come to this conclusion then us shareholders should be in a very good position.
I’ll leave it at that and if Ken reads this he can confirm that he did indeed have a meeting with the Engineer on Friday.
This is looking even better guys!
Yes, I had a meeting with this particular Engineer last Friday. We had a beer and talked about ASIC's in general, RTL programming, and a number of other things.

What is the time frame for the official announcement(s)? While it's fun to watch the roller coaster price it would be nice to step out of the realm of a speculative instrument and into the reality of a mining company. I have no doubt of your delivery. Thanks!

Since there seems to be a lot of misinformation about these new IPOs for 130nm chips, might as well post this here: A 130nm chip at 4.5-5GH/s with that power draw? So, an 110nm avalon chip is 282MH/s, but you guys somehow can create a chip with bigger transistors (130nm) that is equivalent to 16-17 avalon chips? Not only that, but you claim you've optimized the logic so much that any competing chips using similar die-sizes are left in the dust? Size of chip die area? Operating frequency? Number of cores? Sorry, too many red flags in the key technical aspects. According to the preliminary specs ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241033.msg2664903#msg2664903) this chip should perform better than the BFL ASIC (65 nm) while occupying even smaller silicon area. I'm a total noob when it comes to chip designing, so can't even guess if it's possible. Any idea? BFL - 65 nm, 16 cores, 250 MH/s each, 4 GH/s total, die size 7.1 x 7.1 mm, 12.8 W total Labcoin - 130 nm, 16 cores, 300 MH/s each, 4.8 GH/s total, die size 6.5 x 6.5 mm, 12.8 W total By no means I don't want to make any hints to the BFL performance as a company. On the contrary, the labcoin chip has enormous potential if everything goes well. If those are the correct specs, then I'm sorry but... LOL!!! For that to be possible, not only each Labcoin core would have to be ~42% smaller [65/130*(6.5^2)/(7.1^2)] than each BFL core but also the Labcoin chip would magically operate at a higher frequency (300MHz vs 250MHz) while keeping the same power draw... Since there are several new companies going for the 130nm route with the excuse that manufacturing costs are much cheaper, might as well burst that bubble too: It's not. Nothing beats going 28nm now, except for the fact that the upfront NRE cost is much higher. Bottom line: Not going for 28nm by using excuses like "Oh, our chips will be so MUCH cheaper!"... Bullocks!

It's so obvious someone is playing with the market, especially with all the 1-2 share "probes" into the bids, making it look like the price is higher/lower w/no volume. But hey thanks Ken for acknowledging the markets or any other concern/questions everyone else had in the last 100+ posts here. Well done.

Yes. The CEO should definitely spend his time answering the questions and concerns of individual shareholders instead of concentrating on running the company. You are aware how silly that sounds right?

Someone needs to be able to officially answer questions. There is a balance between ideal communication and what is happening now. The question is, how do we get there? The board that is being formed answer is starting to get stale.

Ken already received the funding he needs from shareholders, so why would he give a fuck about PR? To increase the value of his ~100,000 shares he has left? I think his focus is where it belongs -- making shit happen.

You are aware how silly that sounds right? Legitimate questions need to be answered.. But asks for pictures of plane ticket stubs, or the 500 ALREADY ANSWERED QUESTIONS ABOUT TENDERING SHARES FFS. I think we are at the stage now where all the important questions have been asked and answered. If you are still shakey I suggest instead of just whining on here you read through the thread like it seems all the confident people have done, and draw the conclusion for yourself.

What do you expect Ken to say anyway? "Yes there are people speculating over the value of the stock I issued. Just so you know, its actually worth (insert arbitrary value/share), the low volume price movement is there to fool you!"
Its glaringly obvious.
Ken is busy doing stuff that, you know, will actually set up the company for long term success.

I'd be more worried if ken was here posting shit daily vs out in the field doing meetings
Ken is doing what he is suppose to be doing.
We don't need daily or hourly updates.
