And a note regarding the infinite supply of zero's (at a very low inflation rate) that was brought up like this is an unknown fact (by the friendly character named "unimaginable") ..

My opinion on an infinite supply is that it is actually a very good thing for the longevity of a coin, provided that the inflation rate is not crazy. A reminder that bitcoin will be "mined out" somewhere around 2020 but the world stopped talking about that when everyone dumped their money into the pit. Nobody knows what the results will be when the coin is "mined out". When bitcoin was invented, they assumed that the block reward halving and increased transaction fees would accommodate the miners to continue mining. It is obvious to see today, that without the block reward, most will stop mining. Because the resource demands are too great and the transaction fees have already increased to an absurd amount (just to get a payment through...) So what will happen when the block reward STOPS ? I don't think it's anything good personally, but I don't wish to be the doom sayer. We can only speculate what happens.

What happens with a coin that has infinite supply? That has no block reward halving? (to make it very clear in case anyone doesn't know, Zero is such a coin) ... The miners keep mining! The coin lives! To "infinity" !!

So Zero has actually upgraded the whole plot with these simple changes. It is a whole different experiment that has already solved the problem bitcoin could not have foreseen.

Just stumbled on this project. It does seem pretty compelling to me. I will do some more research on it and then decide if I will invest in it or not. One question that I have, is the devs/ team anonymous or are they known? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Really I think he was dumping coins that were collected in the earlier days the whole day while he was posting. Nobody "cares so much" without vested interest. the few whale dumps that happened were laughed at and ate up by the folks (and it's good they get to earn the extra from that) ... The strategy was not working so he shows up here for an 8+ hour work day. Obviously paid, obviously a troll. Obviously, again didn't do anything to effect the market, beyond dumping his coins so cheap so the real investors can have them. I am actually very happy about that. Good people deserve the coins so they can benefit, these whale trolls can kick rocks. Good evening friends.

For the ones asking about the 1% fee: I am one (and I guess not the only) that proposed this to Demarsac, some time ago. You see, zero needs to expand and to pay for developing, promotion, maintenance, exchange fees. Do you seriously expect the managing team to pay out of their pockets? Do you know how expensive is to get listed on a 1st level exchange? I am a miner and I have absolutely no problem with this, since zero mining is the most profitable mining. Let's not be greedy. Also, it's a misunderstanding that this has any consequence on transaction fees. It's just a fair commission on mining. As for the ones blaming the team for pre-mining, this is ridiculous. Zero has been available for mining for almost a year now. If you didn't know, it's your fault. The ones who have been mining it for a long time, took a risk, and now they deserve their rewards. I wish I had listened Demarsac early in the summer when he was advising people to mine zero. I didn't trust him and now I regret.

Now as for the delusional moron posting in the ANN about the coin supply, this is something we have pinned and noted multiple times here. NOTHING WAS HIDDEN. Even if the real supply is 2 mil vs the alleged 400k, the difference is not that important, as fudders claim. Look at all coins with less than 2.3 mil coin supply: the cheapest one costs $220!

As for errors, typos, imperfections etc, yes there are there and I have been reporting them myself to the team. But guys, remember that this is a project that was saved from abandonment and that there are limited funds behind it. There is no bank or big whale managing zero, so of course there is the element of amateurism. The raw substance though, the tech behind the coin is an improved zcash, and this should tell you a lot of things.
