My DNS-Seednode for better/faster host discovery (on coin startup) is now ready. Thanks to the devs: "sxcer" and "langer_hans".

Hostname is: "dnsseed.sexcoin.us".

So, if you have problems with long waiting times before your Sexcoin client/daemon finds an peer. Just add:
"addnode=dnsseed.sexcoin.us" to your config file and you are good.

I haven’t checked this thread in a while. It’s great to see that SXC has finally gotten paired with BTC. I threw in a supportive comment on Pornhub to add sexcoin too. That would be great if they added it. I wish it was more profitable to mine though.  I sure do miss the times when one could get multiple 500 blocks a day just from soloming. I like where this coin is headed though.  Making some real progress!

The Lavapit is moving to a new home. It will be offline until later today. The coins are secure, but mining and withdrawal will probably be unavailable until sometime tomorrow.

I have the frontend for the Lavapit up but mining is currently suspended.

Withdrawals are active.

The frontend will be up until I need to freeze the database for the migration. I'm estimating sometime tomorrow for that to happen.

Why is the value of sexcoins sedately going down
Sexcoin was the first coin I ever mined. I think it is a great idea, the logo is wonderful and I have lots of fun with the name.

At first I thought that it was the bad press that Bitcoin was getting, but other coins are coming back or stabilizing and sexcoin continues to fall. I am seeing new articles on the web about it being a good coin so I am confused about its loss in value. Did I miss a news flash or something

It's because I own some - I have about 10 alt coins that are all worth about 1/5th what I bought them for (on cryptsy).

I thought I'd hold them for a couple of years but the more alts that appear, the worse that idea seems.
