I like it... A lot of people don't understand what we are aiming for. Today I was along way away and I explained bitcoin to my friends mother who was new to it and in her sixties.. It took a little while.. Then I took the plunge, and talked about SXC trying to get the points I have put in the OP (I updated it with an about) some of them, like the reduced risk because the operators were selling virtual goods, she got without me prompting her. The fact is she looked at from a straight economic viewpoint, instead of an emotional kneejerk reaction.. once you explain the business side, I think most people would get it.. Articles like this help get people past that silly "Sex is naughty, you said something naughty ..haw haw..." reaction... That was exactly the point of the article. People need to realise that there is a lot more to Cryptocurrency than just Bitcoin and the reaction it has gotten so far  I'm glad you liked the article If you ever have any SXC news that you want to get out on the web, just PM me |

Re directory structure: I'm not sure what that's about. As a linux user, I've not had any problem, and am used to the way things work already. but whatever.
Re network key: Is it possible just to create a new key that the new code recognizes?
Re block retargeting: good. It has always seemed to me that bitcoin's slow retargeting is a pretty big flaw. And many altcoins have proven that by getting stuck. Fast retargeting and potentially even time-based retargeting is necessary to roll with the hashrate punches.

haha love it how they laughed about sexcoin on tv, its good free promotion, im sure that most of the media talking about alt coins will mention sexcoin, you just cant miss it.  Well done tagcash for adding sexcoin, i'll test it out. |

Well, Theres been some great things happening with SXC..
Media attention , new services, a new exchange and new merchants...
But the price is down.. This information isn't getting out there...
Our official website hasn't been updated.. This is a problem, one I raised a week ago... It's still not updated.. A nice shiny new website would be nice, but in the weeks or months that it is being developed a quick update on the old one would stop a lot of negative impressions about SXC being formed.
I started an official page on facebook.. there was one, it went against SXC's branding and represented SXC as purely speculative, and elicited donations, none of which went to SXC's development.. It also didn't contain any news so it gave the impression SXC was standing still..
That's much the same as the two twitter feeds... I'm trying to get that under control as well, but my request for an "@sexcoin.info" email account to be setup has not born any result... I guess there's more important things taking place...
In the end I guess there's not much I can contribute to SXC, so I am reducing my involvement in the project with a view to leaving the development altogether.
