Gz for this coin , much aspect of ecoins is about perception . And users will apreciate much to have a coin for porn xD or even sex one day who knows.

I have to recognize im a nub and I started minning because i got a 7770 that can mine 200 mhash so i thought i could give a try with easier coins than litecoin until i really have my serious rig with 4 cards.

First I tried solo minning following the instructions in this thread but i felt like i was doing something wrong because the cgminer was all night and i got no coins at all. Then I went to pool minning but i´m experiencing the same resoult , no coins in the wallet but the minner is running perfectly , well or i think so . I see a lot of mesages of stratum from pool 0 requested work restart and sometimes a mesage found block for pool 0. I supouse then is when a coin is generated .

Could you give me a hand on which step i´m missing please . I will link my configs.(pool mining)

I know how to mine with a mining pool - but I don't really understand how to mine directly from my wallet on my little laptop..?

When selecting Solo Mining - how many threads - scantime - and what to fill in the Server - Port - Username and Password..?

If you read the whole article at the end they are pretty positive about it. But he is wrong about the price - it was $0.23 at one point. The coinmarketcap info is accurate because the coin was trading
that high with actual trades. You could see the orders going through in the order book below. What people put their orders in at has nothing to
do with actual sells and buys. All that matters is the log below that -- actual sales were up to nearly $0.23 per coin and will be again within days or a week. CMC price is based on actual orders that complete.
So the article is very incorrect on that.

I can confirm the price.  The calculator at: www.outhashed.com was also showing $0.23 yesterday.  It gets that value based on the most recently COMPLETED orders at cryptsy.  Not open orders, or bids or anything else, only completed ones.  So that price was accurate at the time.

The problem with cryptsy was they were receiving orders faster than they could fill them, so there was a lag in the order processing that caused some confusion.  But ultimately everybody received the correct amount in the order that they were submitted.

Yep.  It is.

If you've got a single gpu, then the BEST you can expect solo is about 2 blocks per day.  Before the big boom the same gpu would have solved 1 or 2 per hour.

Well, that's how luck works.  
It's basically a lottery system.  The network announces a new lottery winner every 60 seconds. Every hash you submit is equivalent to buying more lottery tickets.  But since there's so many people buying so many tickets, each one decreases your own chances.  One day you might get 3 in a row.  Other days you might not get any.  That's where the law of averages comes into play, as long as you average it out over a long enough period of time, you will see you are getting rewards at a predictable rate.

Edit: Also, the general rule of thumb is that you should only solo mine if you have enough hash power to consistently solve at least one block per day.  Otherwise you will get way too much variance and it will mostly just be an exercise in frustration.

Checkout https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison the same applies to SXC.  17Khash sounds very anemic, almost cpu mining.   Why don't you post your mining options and miner name+version (and OS you're mining on?).

The best way to promote it is to make up a team of people that can write blogs, post treads, contact all the known porn sites out there, advertise on porn sites, google adwords, contact journalists and online magazines and come up with stories, have banners on major Crypto-curency sites, get some more exchange websites to adopt it, youtube videos,
better looking website with more information on it, contact radio/tv stations to have stories on it, positive or negative any publicity is good publicity, trust me this name is catchy and many journalists would love to write about it.

It seems to me that all we really need is one camgirl, camsite, or escort service to begin accepting sexcoin, and that would open the floodgates.

I would suggest promoting by befriending an independent camgirl and explain to her that you just made a ton of money when sexcoin went up 20+ times, and if she accepts it then she could get a whole bunch of sexcoin, increase her fame and popularity, and also help increase the value of sexcoin so that maybe she becomes rich in under a year.

How to befriend?  Well, I'm no expert, but I would suggest becoming a client, and offering to pay with sexcoin.  Also, wouldn't hurt to visit a night club or two, or hire an escort.  Personal connections and face time are sure to work better than a web page.
