::Lavapit Update::First off, I want to thank everyone for their support, and wanting to mine on the Lavapit. Here's the upshot:
- Its a capacity issue. I'm not seeing evidence of a DDoS or anything like that.
- new registrations are closed for the moment. I will begin with token registrations when I can get some more capacity installed
- I would strongly encourage everyone to use a failover pool in their configuration.
- I'm working on tweaking the existing hardware to get whatever I can out of it.
- Services will be up and down for the moment
- I have disabled pushpool mining. I hate to do this, but pushpool is a resource pig. After I'm done tweaking, I will "TRY" to re-enable it.
- I had not expected to see this kind of traffic for at least 4 more months, so I'm playing a catchup game.
- The only way to change your e-mail, or add it _after_ registration, is to send me a support ticket with the email you want, and your current 'send address' in the message. If either of these is missing, or you have not entered a 'send address', I cannot ensure that you are the one asking for the change. This is not an oversite on the interface, its by design.
- I'm buried in support tickets.
Capacity will probably be an issue for the short future. I'm probably shooting myself in the foot, but it's going to take some time to get some new iron in and configured. Make sure you use a failover pool, or flat out another one. This is what I get for bitching about Cryptsy
