Also I would love too hear opinions on what would it take for something like that to happen.

I think I would buy a lot of it if it's gonna crash. That's the perfect opportunity to do so. Smiley

That would be devastating. I know you should only invest what you can afford to lose, but damn that would hurt. I would probably want to buy if such a enormous drop would occur, but for this to happen it would probably be caused by a global ban or something(very unlikely, but very possible); so I wouldn't probably be able to buy in the end due to probably all exchanges shut down.

Wow $0.89 per BTC? I will buy as many Bitcoin as I can afford. This is the only way for me to own thousands of Bitcoin.

Although, I think this will never happen again.

If bitcoin price crashes to less than a dollar don't worry it will definitely rise again. In one hour, it will immediately jump to 100k. So when that time comes, struggle to acquire as much bitcoin as you can Roll Eyes

I dont think that would happen anytime soon but if it does crash i would suggest to buy more bitcoins because it will rise again after a brief period of time
And it is used to exchange currency so it will be beneficial in the end

Cant imagine that happening. But if ever that happens, I'll try so sell before it goes rock bottom. Then once it does, buy more since it'll be cheap.

You have combined the most horrible nightmare with the most dreamy thought together. If bitcoin crash to less than a dollar I could barely buy a Mcd Meal with my bitcoins. That would surely be the saddest day of my whole life and dont be much surprised if you see thousands of people doing suicides that day. And yes 2.5 Million USD woah that could make me the richest person in the town for sure.

if it turned to be $0.89 per bitcoin, my life will be back to 1 year before, it's should be ok to me as I have not invest too much into the cryptocurrencies.
My bad dream will be if I wake up and find the BTC is suddenly rise to $1million by one night, then I will hate myself not bought as much as I can last night.

Well it's gonna be the end of bitcoin era i guess. Altcoins will rule in this case. Ethereum is gonna be #1 crypto in my opinion.

I would obviously feel really depressed about losing all the value I had built up in bitcoin but then I would take the opportunity to buy a huge amount for when it will ultimately recover as it always does.

buy more if you see a really low price in bitcoin just buy more, remember that cap of bitcoin is too low and undervalued, so dont be scared if prices have a correction.

If it crashes then that will be the time that i would spend more money on bitcoin then patiently waiting for it to increase again, and all the money that i've spend would be paid off if the price has increase rapidly again.

You buy more? Save up enough to live off of it, but never have everything inside of it. Diversify. Outside of cryptocurrencies as well. Take like 25-50% of the profits each month and enjoy Smiley

Bitcoin's nice but it will always have its ups and downs, as everything does. Be patient.

It currently like the dotcom bubble in 2000.

People are buying into it without understanding what it is. They don't see any value in it other than the hype that it has made people loads of money.

When the hype wears off it will crash, and it will crash hard. After, just like the dotcom it will rise again but at at a more realistic rate.

What is the bitcoin for every of us ?
If it's only a coin and its value is important because you can compare with fiat, well... this kind of people could have a big depression.
If it's a perfect transaction system that give us all responsability about our 'money' and belive in blockchain system, the price of bitcoin does not matter (we can understand costs of minery, fees...).

For people who are thinking only in comparative (btc ---> fiat): Think about that: If 1btc rises to $20.0000... what's more important? btc or $?
For example: would you sell all yor US dollars for australian dollars now?
Or would you change € for Iranian rial now?

And the last one: If btc is prohibited for lawgivers, btc is less important and less usefuly? (Well, we will need to know which kind of law will wrote them)

For me, blockchain and btc are importants.
I will never pay $16.000 for 1btc, but i won't put any objection if anyone want to pay that price.
And there are other interesting cryptocurrencies.

We are living in a vast test/checking. If tomorrow anyone discovers how to break any blockchain security, we will have a problem. And this is worst than value of any criptocoin. For me, this point will be my disappointment.

If there is a big drop with Bitcoin, I think anyone will buy and hoard in large numbers and wait. However, this will not happen until the moment when Bitcoin prices are very high and may increase in the future, so it is unlikely that the price will drop dramatically.
