No. I was just watching the market and manually traded some feathercoins.

That's one way to clear out the dust for a pool where no one has a login (so no one can log in and trigger a manual payout).

I'm not sure you're doing anyone a favor by giving them too low a payout more than once in a while -- I'd have to think about it. Don't such small transactions sometimes trigger fees?

Yeah. If you receive an amount less than 0.01, you can never send it anywhere without paying a fee of at least 0.0001.

That's the reason I chose 0.01 as the threshold.

You can, however, send a bunch of "outputs" all clumped together in one transaction, with only a 0.0001 fee. I.e. if a miner receives 0.005 BTC every day for 30 days, he can send all 0.015 somewhere with only a 0.0001 fee.

Also, I'm paying extra fees when sending out so many transactions. You guys aren't charged for that though.

Maybe have a lower payout once every week or two to clear out the inactive balances that are just dead funds in the pool.

And yet another idea: if immature and unexchanged balances are zero - this means that this guy has stopped mining.
It is nice to send already mined dust then to that miner.

Either way, I have the impression that any of these pools are a waste of time. Maybe these pools should have a rig with at least a single 7950 pre-mining the so called "most profitable coin" for 2 minutes before making the switch, to make sure that stalls and rejects don't eat up hash rate.

Blindingly switching according to calculations similar to what seen on coinchoose, doesn't cut it. My rig is stable, cgminer reports the same 870 Kh/s, yet HashCows mining KrugerCoin, the pool reports 160 ~ 200 for the full round. Where is the remaining hash rate going? Rejects, stalls, lag and God knows what more ...

Agree 100% with this... as I have stated for a while, I think this pool was a great idea but the hashrate is too large for it to be effective unless he could split the hashrate up and have 80% mine LTC and 20% jump around and mine the alt-coins.  1GH/s is just too large to throw at these smaller coins even if they are the most profitable.

Yeah. 1 GH/s is way too much for some of these coins.

Part of my calculations include looking at past results of profits. So if there is a coin with some problem, that will be accounted for. I don't think pre-mining like you say would be good, because you'd lose out on that 2 minutes of profit. And past results are probably a good enough indicator.

I really want to split up the hashrate like you say. It's going to be hard to figure out how to make the payouts fair though. Do I randomly choose the people who get to mine on the smaller pool, or is it who has the lowest reject rate? And do their extra profits get distributed into the main pool?

I don't know how you pick what shares to send which workers, but if I were looking at this problem I would do something like:

- pick "n" coins with high profitability to mine.
- compute ratio's so that none of the coins exceed a target max rate. 
- adjust "n" as needed to meet target max coin rate.

This would result in a table

coin 1 - x%
coin 2 - y%
coin 3 - z%

and x + y + z = 100

There are many ways to pick which coin to send a worker when they ask but it could be as simple as pick a number between 1 and 100.

And yes, a machine with 3 GPU's could in theory be mining 3 different coins.

Totals 0.00464962
Guess I have to start mining again. 

Then, another remarkable issue :
I'm listed twice on the statspage ( Same BTC address twice that is )
The other listing still has a 0.00000140  unexchanged balance.

Any thoughts ?

One of your addresses has a 1 after it. Typo maybe, when setting up one of your miners?

Mining here again won't clear out the small amount left on immature and unexchanged. The only thing that will do that is me fixing it, when I have time.
