So a moon in the graph means we are on target, if you dont have a moon in ur personal graph does that mean you arent on target??

According to coingeek, that's just some eye candy when we hit 100 btc for the day.  Since he wouldn't be able to come up with a target value for each user I wouldn't expect to see anything on your personal graph.

Right. The moon means the pool is over 100 BTC for the day and we want it to go higher. (To the MOON). Just a little whimsy, and it might go away as unexpectedly as it arrived.

You'll see it on your personal graph too it you're over 100 BTC for the day.  Everyone had a moon for about ten minutes earlier today while I was testing. If you still have one try refreshing your browser.

Challenge Accepted!!!

Now i just need to find 6000Mh to get a 100 BTC a day..........

So... I've installed my 280x (ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5) yesterday and having a hard time to get more than 575-600 kh/s with it.

Windows 7
Catalyst 13.12
cgminer 3.7.2 with:
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"intensity" : "13",
"worksize" : "256",
"shaders" : "2048",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192"

GPU core clock is 1070mhz
CPU mem clock is 6400mhz
GPU temp is around 74celcius (fan at 55%)

Increasing Intensity gives me hardware errors

what else can be done?

Add:

"gpu-powertune" : "20"

Also overclock your GPU memory as far as it will go.

If that fails to give you the desired results then try

"gpu-threads" : "1",
"intensity" : "20",
"worksize" : "256",
"thread-concurrency" : "22400"
"gpu-powertune" : "20"

That's totally right.

ratty it the inspiration for the moon icon just like he says.

If anyone can come up with MOON icons, 25 pixels square, png or jpeg, I'll use the first N or so in rotation. Just post it here and I'll use it. You own the copyright, but posting means I can use just for the MOON icon.

<<<And, I know what you're thinking. I'm talking the MOON in the sky, way, high, up there where we want the balance to go. We don't want the balance to go to that other moon. However, I'll consider tasteful SFW moons to use if the balance is under BTC50 at the end of the day>>>

Also try changing the clock down to around 1030. I've got two of em and that's the only way I could get them to 700+

This probably isn't the best place for this (tons of other threads...) but here are a couple things to try.
I like to find my thread-concurrency rather than just trying random numbers.   Take the  "thread-concurrency" : "8192" line out of your config file, delete any .bin files in the opt/miners/cgminer folder and then restart cgminer.  In the absence of a .bin file and no line for TC in the config, it will find a good TC for your setup.  It will write the result out as a new Scrypt13032Tahitiglg2TC22400w25614.bin file (or something similar). The number after TC is a good TC to use (22400 in my case).  Now hard code that TC number back into the config.  Note that this is not the only TC that will work and you may be able to optimize it further, but I have found this is a great starting point for my rigs.

Also watch the WU: number (work utility) in the top line in cgminer results.  It should be about 90% or more of your hash rate.  I have seen systems that are running with a high TC and show a decent has rate, but have a low WU, thus wasting that hash rate.  Finding the ideal TC using the above method has fixed those systems.

One last caution is to watch for HW errors.  They should be at 0 or you have some config error.

I have found that a great hash rate is sort of like balancing on the head of a pin...or finding a needle in a haystack! :-)

Good Luck!

Thanks for all the answers received, I've been able to experiment a few things, getting a better hashrate but not necessarly a better WU :/
1 gpu thread seems to gives better result than 2.
TC is 22400 with the bin trick
GPU Core clock at 1070mhz or 1030mhz is pretty much the same

Hi Guys,

Something seems wrong, Can someone check my link to see if everything is ok? I mined for a FULL 24 hrs since last payout and I got an even less amount to what I got yesterday and yesterday CGminer closed on me for a few hours, So I wasnt mining for atleast 3 hrs. I was expecting This payout to be ATLEAST .02 I am on 1.5mhz and it has shown me on the main page as Exactly 0.7270 for 48 hrs now. I only got 0.0174 Which is pretty low..

I checked on a few other guys with 1.5mhz and they have atleast 0.02?

One other thing - Is there a way we can see how much we mined without the fees taken out it seems the exact amount showing on your graph is the exact amount that gets transferred. How do we know the correct fees are being taken out and not 5-7%? Is this all just based on trust?

That's great! I like it, but it just won't work as an icon without some master Photoshop skills.

Even if I relax the size requirement to 50 pixels it's still not easy.

My wife is great at icons, I'll try to get some help.

Lets see what we can come up with...

Some days are better than others. There are many factors that can make the payouts more or less.

My payout yesterday was: 0.07641323

Today's payout was: 0.07018740

Like you I also had a bit of downtime yesterday too as shown on my chart.

yep, in addition DOGE went down in price, as did most cryptos.   As has been said many times in this thread, there is no formula or calculation for hashrate equaling payout.  DOGE also has random block reward so even if price and difficulty stay the same(which they don't even within the same day), so one day we could theoretically find lets say 10 blocks worth max value, and the next day we could find 100 blocks only worth 10 coins each.

Coinwarz and the other ones calculate based on everything trading for the value at the time the coin was mined, difficulty not changing, 100% pps with no orphans or stales, and no downtime or rejected shares.

And Also i dont know if you would even call that down time, You were still hashing. Look at my down time... You know what ? maybe yesterday I would of got over 0.02 if it were not for those 3 hrs Down time... I will leave it on  for a few days.. See whats the go.

My bad, for some reason my page was not refreshed properly. I had to F5 it to see it. So yes my payout today was 0.05444536

By downtime, I meant one of my rigs was down. Others were still hashing though.

I Would of thought we are mining many different coins, As it seems DOGE is not the most profitable at many times of the day.

For example - Right now its
Netcoin (NET)

Most profitable.

The problem is by the time you switch to mining something else / transferring it into an exchange / selling it, the price often is no longer the same :]
