After adding in a time difference check for python mdc watcher between local and server time, it appears middlecoin JSON data is always outdated by 5+ minutes and only updates roughly once per thirty minutes. Is this in line with others' findings?

Are you sure about the thirty minute finding? Interesting.

I'm not saying this isn't what's happening right now, but I've been collecting data from the JSON every ten minutes and I know I've seen changes happening at about that scale in the recent past.

Here's what I have in the command line buffer:
Time since last JSON update: 49-137 minutes
Time since last JSON update: 6-18 minutes
Time since last JSON update: 9-20 minutes
Time since last JSON update: 9-20 minutes
Time since last JSON update: 9-32 minutes (<- hasn't updated yet)

Will look again later. ETA: guess it's better, now. Looks like it's updating about as fast as it can since ~10-minute-old JSON data comes ~every 10 minutes.

That's big improvement. Finally info about payment has been updates on site too, still eu server is not mentioned there though.

Did payout get switched to every two days?

Don't think so. Why do you ask?

For those using python program. I've rewritten it and it's actually decent now:

Quoting my question from the newbies area over here now that my forum account is approved:

Been lurking for a long time - finally had a question that I cant find a solution to so registered an account on here.  Hello all Smiley

I've been mining LTC for a while now but starting to get a bit bored with it.  I recently came across Middlecoin and want to switch to using that pool for a while and see how it goes.

I have a decent number of workers and it's kind of a pain to switch between all of them to set up a new username, which is why I typically use a stratum proxy and the "custom user" (-cu) flag to override what user I submit shares with in the end.

For example: stratum_proxy.exe -o middlecoin.com -p 3333 -cu <my BTC address> -cp x

For some reason on Middlecoin, this seems to result in me not getting credit for my shares.  Works fine on every other pool I have used.

Has anyone successfully used Middlecoin + stratum proxy + -cu flag?

Thanks.

It's also possible that I don't know how to see my progress on this pool.  I mined for a few hours last night and my shares appeared to submit correctly.  I'm not on the huge list of addresses on the main page, and I'm also not in the json output.

Thanks.

I was just about to stop mining with this pool cuz I didnt see any earnings as I did when I was mining coin of choose by my self.
I let 2 small test rigs mine on this pool for about 3-5 days I dont feel for checking exactly atm but the KH/S has only been 800-2000 since one rig got realy unstable and died wwhile I was not at home.

And I still got around 70$.

And I think thats awesome for that low rig power.
Ill stay with this pool for my second test period and see if the profit stays this good Ill add more hashpower, 10 times more and see if that brings me even near 700$ for a few days Ill be amazed.

My only problem is that I love to mine new coins and pile em up for the future, else I would have added those hashpower long time ago Cheesy

If you like me , give some Dimecoins to me @ 7FMpsYwWy9LgBfQP3iqstbAvx4wp2AFAon

I am still using 2.11.4 on my rigs, as I could not see any advantages in newer versions - it only get worse

Way too short to really register... Try leaving it on for a day or so and let the first payout go through. Takes awhile to hit the leaderboard.

I started with < 100kh and was still getting payouts. Convinced me to upgrade my hardware and only now am I pushing 600kh and its well worth it to mine here. Where else would you go? If you want to mine alts and get paid in BTC this is the best/easiest way.

There are people who hash here with less and make a decent amount...

Payouts will be delayed tonight. I'm upgrading the server that computes the webpage stats, and I need to finish that first.

best AND easiest don't go together.... this is the easiest but certainly not the best. How much is your time worth? Coin juggling and exchanging is more work than most people realize. I'm pushing about 7Mh and I'm on here because I got sick of juggling around and needed something less hands on for the holidays at least. When I have more free time I'll re-evaluate juggling them myself

Hopefully the stats delay will explain why my earnings are incredibly low right now

Is the pool down?

exactly. I am new to mining and spent a lot of time understanding what I am doing. This is definitely the easiest but definitely not the best! But then again its a lot of hard work if you want to do this yourself

How much do you get (on average) with your 600kh?
