Hows the EU server performing?  Is it building up a large amount of unexchanged as well? Just curious.

Not really connection problems, just a few getwork failures.

But I still have  a large amount of unexchanged coins, I'm not sure if it's related to the eu server, but it looks like.

I compared my stats with 30 users around me in the table and found 7 with much more unexchanged than exchanged.
I dunnow if they are also mining on eu server.

hashrates are around 4.2 unexchanged balances between 0.06 and 0.12 and exchanged balances between 0.28 and 0.39
It goes from 200% to 400% of unexchanged coins.

[...]

Me and my friends mining eu as well 3 times more unexchanged than exchanged by now.

I read earlier that eu was mining (only?) Doge.
Maybe all these unexchanged are related to the Cryptsy maintenance ?

Man, who is the top Miner with 731 MH/s?  New Scrypt Asic company testing out all the miners?  Earlier this morning it was like 600.  Wish I could put together that much power.
It's asic yes. A chip thing. It's been discussed like 10 times already in this thread

Its not asic. Its cpu mining. One chip is only doing 60 KH/s so in order to get 731 MH/s you'll need 10 000 + of these chips and they're expensive. 60 USD each.

I keep seeing people talking about the unexchanged balance like it is a bad thing.    The pool mines coins and trades them for the Bitcoins that get paid out.  There are many different ways to look at this.

One strategy you could take is to look at a website and mine what ever coin is currently the most profitable.  By the time you mine, mature, and exchange the currency it could be worth a fortune or worth nothing.

Another strategy could be to rotate through multiple coins for short periods of time even if they are not the most profitable right now.  Then you hold the coins for a while just to speculate.  If demand for one of the coins you are holding shoots through the roof, you have them on hand to cash in immediately.  You could make a very large profit before anyone else even gets an inkling of just how profitable it is.  By the time the website gets updated, the hordes of miners switch over, and the bubble has burst you can already be mining the next big thing.  Some times it pays to be at the right place at the right time.

Just a thought I wanted to throw out there.  Everyone seems to get irate when the pool mines Litecoin.  If Litecoin were to hit $200 tomorrow, everyone and their cousin would wish they had been mining it this week.  heh..

I suppose I'm done with this thread. It has amounted to pages and pages of:

- Insults to others
- Questioning basic information that has been stated over and over
- Wondering about the unexchanged coins.
- Sharing cool pics and hashing rates of various graphics cards
- Someone accusing the biggest hasher of ASCI or being a botnet

Glad the pool is still profitable for me though!

I'm a newbie : I can't say if this is good or bad  just now Wink
I'm just saying some guys here have 2 to 4 times more unexchanged than exchanged.
It looks like these users mine on eu server.

Sure but some guys here have probably bills to pay before litecoin hit 200$ or doge 1000$ !
A few pointed out that litecoin wasn't the most profitable coin to mine now (and if they would have wanted to mine litecoin there are many litecoin pools with smaller fee).

Auto-exchange is becoming auto-speculator? If someone intends to sell LTC @200$ just go mine at ordinary pool and hold.

My 1.5 KH/s earns me about $20 a day here. The same power at LTC earns me $9. Seems legit to me.
