Thanks for all of the tips from you guys, they are most helpful. Learning linux is kind of weird and much harder after windows but it does things quite fast once you get used to it Smiley

which one are you talking about?
stonefoz's one from from page 45.

I think what we need most now is NOT a miner with <10% improvement, but rather some websites that accept Quark as a currency. It would be better if a bounty were set up to encourage game/website developers... Cool

and for fucks sakes start making dedicated threads for all these damn miners.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

Bulldozer optimized client based of v2 code was getting a bit high reject rate. reverted to V1 and getting stable:

8150: 800 khash stock and up to 1100 khash with OC.. so .8~1.1mhash depending on your oc

Amd optimized cpuminer. probably works on Intel? but code had been targeted for amd with caches at least as bit as the old Opterons.

Must be built with CFLAGS="-msse2", tested on 64bit linux. "jh_sse2_opt32.h" has not been edited for 32bit builds and is currently broken.

4Ghz bulldozer is running 107/Khs per core. Total 428/Khs
2.4Ghz Opteron is running 78/Khs per core. Total 312/Khs.
2.8Ghz Semepron 145 is running 112/Khz per core.

Will be working on replacing sse2 with newer avx, should greatly improve the "JH" has sections along with "Groestl". Those two lost the SHA3 partially  based on speed. Skien, BMW, and Blake already run screeming fast.

There must be a problem with the payouts from pool.

Code:
./minerd -a quark -o http://176.221.46.81:8372 -u <my quark address>

I'm sure it's the correct address as i get it from the command:

Code:
quarkcoind getaccountaddress <rpcuser from the conf file>

Someone is hashing at around 130kHash at my pool with username 'user'.

This don't work!!

You need to set as username your Quarkcoin address where the payment should go

I'm quite sure i set the correct address of my local wallet but i dont get the payout altough the miner works well.

I have gotten 10 blocks in about 8 hours. Works fine for me.

Is it possible to solo mining with this miner?

Yes on v2 I had some problems and had some reported so I pulled the AMD WIN64 minerd down and posted the v1 bins- which seem to work perfect, just a lil bit slower.
Will run tests for stonefoz to see what's going on.

Fast AMD optimized win64 clients, should also work on newer intel. 1mh (1000kh)++ on newer chips

Why are payments so low to start off with? I average 30 - 40 QRK a block on the P2Pool but for the first half an hour, I get like 3.9 QRK per block
That's what P2Pools were designed to do.

P2Pool rewards people that mine for a longer period of time. Anti hopper measure I guess.
