OP has been updated with block explorer link.

That's so cool. I found my two blocks! 1169 and 1171.

How weird and random is it that I'd find two blocks in twenty hours of mining, and that they'd be two minutes apart?

1171 is a prime number, too. I consider that fortuitous. 1169 is 7 × 167, but yes, I'm enough of a geek to check to see if they were mersenne primes.

I'm still at a total of two blocks, but the difficulty is listed as quite a bit lower than it was when I started. Is the difficulty really keyed to the network hashrate?

Indeed, it will adjust up or down each block depending on the target spacing compared to how long it actually took to solve the block.

Smokey, this is not 'nam, this is bowling. There are rules. Do as the dude would wish, and mine some Lebowskis! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260311.0

Well are you also mining primecoins?  Tongue

Walter, what plans do you have for this coin?

I know it's just a fun coin, but are there any plans to get this listed on an exchange, or added to a casino, or anything?

You know we gotta give Donnie a proper Folgers burial, but I am thinking maybe we can get a cremation bill that doesn't make us scream expletives.

The plans are to expand as far as people wish to take it. You are right, the coin is made primarily for fun, but any services that can come out of it are only a bonus. Right now I'm working on getting a pool established which might inspire more people to mine. Perhaps the logical order after that will be it hitting a casino website and then possibly an exchange.

I've contacted quite a few people and I am seeing what I can do myself. Hopefully within a few days there will be many more services for Lebowski users  Smiley

Yes, not sure what though. I am trying to mine more for bounties myself, and also have the donation address but it is empty as of now. I would say 1,500 LBW to the first functional pool.

Great, I am excited to point my miners at it  Smiley

If you want to start a new thread announcing the pool, that would be very dude of you. If not, it's no big deal. OP will be updated with the pool information as well.
