That would be awesome!

My dream goal for the coin if it gains popularity is to have a simple web store that sells all things lebowski in exchange for lebowskis  Smiley

Definitely get you a GPU.  You can probably find an old 5850 on Craigslist or eBay for under $100.

Of course, if you don't have a PC with a PCI-E slot it will do you no good Sad

I'm working on convincing my wife to let me expand my rig, but apparently things like mortgage payments are more important...

I have two PCI-E slots free and i can probably free up a third or replace the NVidia card I have that is slower than CPU mining for scrypt to free up the fourth, but this Mac Pro sucks up a lot of electricity just sitting here. So I'm looking at building a dedicated rig for scrypt mining. Right now all I have is FPGA and I have a BeagleBone Black on order so that I can run the FPGA without the desktop being on 24/7.

If I eliminate this electricity-guzzler from my power bill, I'll get my electricity down to 10.5¢/KWh from 19.5¢/KWh, and that will make a difference regarding what kinds of hardware I can add and be cost-effective.

But yeah, maybe I ought to just grab one of those 5850s just to have it set up. I can always swap it out into the dedicated rig once I get one.

Well I am working with a developer friend right now on developing a marketplace for BTC and a few other alt-coins.

I think I could definitely look into opening a Lebowski shop that would sell Tara Reid toe keychains, bowling balls, and rugs.   It's going to be far out...

The main problem is that if/when LBW hits Cryptsy, then no one will want to spend them on a tasty Sarsaparilla.

But, we are still trying to go forward with our site, and then I am hoping to make a specific marketplace for Bottlecaps... if everything works out and LBW is popular then I will work on something for it as well Smiley

That would be great, its going to take a whole lot of dudeism from the community to propel Lebowskis to that level.

Well I told myself I was going to stop after I got 1000 LBWs... but I'm going to keep going for a few more days.

Not sure this thing will ever actually take off, but just in case Tongue

Edit:  Oh and I only have 999 LBW - 51 blocks!

I'm still at a total of two blocks, but the difficulty is listed as quite a bit lower than it was when I started. Is the difficulty really keyed to the network hashrate?
