Would be nice to open the wallet for withdrawals. Is the network functioning? Last I checked it had dangerously low hashrate

It is functioning, but hashrate is quite low. I have a (relatively modest these days) 30MH/s miner that's kicking around various coins, and I can see the difficulty rise when it hits lebowskis.

Currently difficulty is around 0.01 but that's probably because of me. It was more like 0.006 a week or two ago.

Yes, a complete revival is in the works now. There's a good bit of work ahead but LBW will be coming back, this time sans-fork.

How's about an update?
I'm solo mining right now, with a GAW FURY @ 1.4MH/s and getting most of the blocks over a 48hr period. Prior to this latest effort to mine LBW, I have shared my interests with others whom also wish to know the future of the coin.  If you require any hosting resources, we'd be excited to help.

Updates will be coming shortly, closer to the end of the year. Anyone who would like to support Lebowskis in any way, be it a small donation or hosting services such as a block explorer etc, feel free to PM me. I'm attempting to get infrastructure rolling to keep the coin supported. This will at the very least be entertaining for those of you who have been pushed out of mining the larger coins by miners with limitless bank accounts.

How much funding do we need to get this coin up and running again?

Things are settling in to place. Doubters of Lebowskis, chill out and enjoy a white russian man.

Smokey, this is not 'nam, this is bowling. There are rules. Do as the dude would wish, and mine some Lebowskis! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260311.0
