Don't forget this is the fastest time a coin has been added to an exchange, thus showing how much potential there is and the dev and supporters are not greedy waiting to mine before it hits them Wink i am contacting cryptsy too for them to add it to there exchange and a few other exchanges i know personally Smiley

Will update soon!

Hmm, I'd argue that distinction goes to BottleCaps...buuuut, this one and caps have got a lot in common Cheesy

I thought this was a joke because it says "This coin pair is under maintenance" and there isn't any LBW in the sidebar.

Which is exactly the same as:

https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/KFC_BTC/
https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/666_BTC/

or

https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/YourMomma_BTC/

So you can put anything in that URL and make it look like it is "under maintenance."

But here is where you should look:

https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/coin/list/

Where it is listed as being "under maintenance." For realz. I guess asking nicely works. Smiley

https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/coin/list/

Hopefully escrow isn't necessary for trades. Anyone who scams lebowskis is very undude.

If we can figure out the escrow thing, lets put some real-world value to this thing. I have a Web of Spider-Man #1 from 1984 in VF (8.0) condition, Overstreet value $9.00. Based loosely on Damnsammit's offer of BTC0.00003 per LBW, I'd ask LBW 5500 including USPS Priority Mail within the US.

I know that's almost 1/10th of all the LBW currently in existence, but considering that we have to find reputable escrow before I'd post in the For Sale section, I'd say by the time that gets sorted more people will have more Lebowskis. (Or is it "more Lebowski"?)

I'd try making a rug or a bowling ball the first thing sold in LBW but I haven't got a rug or bowling ball to sell. Just putting it out there.

No sir you are not. Yes I am hoping for a higher value by a good bit than the ones proposed above  Smiley

If a Lebowski marketplace comes to fruition that sells The Big Lebowski memorabilia, then I think we will see a decent price!

Smokey, this is not 'nam, this is bowling. There are rules. Do as the dude would wish, and mine some Lebowskis! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260311.0

I'm open to ideas if you think that my proposed price was off. I figured that there has to be a starting point somewhere, and boosting a coin with actual goods and/or services beats the heck out of speculation.

And it's true that I'm not quite willing to put my most valuable items for sale in Lebowskis, but I'm willing to give it a start, and I offered something with actual collector value.

Maybe I ought to just wait until it starts trading.

We will see, I am contacting coins-e regarding the issue they were running in to. Hopefully trading will resume shortly.

Wow that was the most unlucky I have been in a while.

Difficulty less than 0.5 and I hit 2 blocks in 6 hours at 750KH/s

Oh well, I'll keep it running over night!

If we're selling, I have a few Sioux City Sarsaparilla bottle caps just like the one in my avatar. They are twist off, so not mangled. Willing to sell them for 100 LBW's including first class postage to the US or Canada.

Making progress on the Lebowski website. The basic design and content is complete for now, it just needs a good bit of TLC. I am not web designer  Roll Eyes

Thank you, I would have tried to prepare more services from the get go, but I wasn't expecting a ton of community support. The coin is intended to be for fun, but that doesn't mean it can't be made useful as well. I just need to direct more lebowski fans here!

This is no "ultra-super-giga-coin" or any other generic name claiming to be the most innovative and powerful coin ever that will dethrone bitcoin. The only claim that's being made here is of being as dude as possible, and abiding to the fun atmosphere that the movie conveys.

Let's make it great for Donnie!
