I bet with you. Not less than 100 thousands people could commit suicide if Bitcoin turn into zero. Sad

i doubt that this kind of event would happen, i mean tons of strong countries, big names, miners and large investors won't allow something like this to happen for they will surely protect their interest no matter what happen and no matter what the cost is, but just in case this will happen this will  turn the world up side down.

That all may be true.
All this, Because the bitcoin price continues to fall to zero (bankruptcy), some people may had nightmares or lost sleep and became depressed (stress) this could happen to anybody and happen anywhere.

It could go to zero if the banks decided to stop everybody from doing any kind of  Bitcoin transaction. If people cant get real money for them they become worthless. On the other hand if they fall to say a dollar and stayed pretty stable  then they could be used for what they were intended for, as an alternative currency, at the moment most people only see them as an investment.

It's not probable for Bitcoin to totally crash or go back to $0. However, I think Bitcoin is just too overvalued at this time.

Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
goes to zero is kinda impossible because like you said its the bridge to the dollar and crypto
it will only happen if there will be another bridge to takeover but that will not happen because not everyone will support it

Unlikely because of the penny stock phenomenon.
Once a "coin" or anything really has risen up to high levels with lots of popularity..
It will forever be eye balled by "investors" in the hopes it rises again.
I seen this in play with Doge coin for example.

But since 90% of you all are noobs and worse simply investards you are blind.
You fail to see the distinction between currency users and commodity investors.
If you were real investors you would be concerned by the fact that Bitcoin failed miserably.
And it would scare the living shit out of you that even though it's fucked up bad and worse by the day it keeps shooting up more and more in price.

You are not investors.
You are blind morons ..in the second group.
Blind and stupid pouring on the shallow pointless platitudes to pad your post count and count the BTC chump change.
Oblivious to what is going on around you.

0 ?
Not likely but it can and SHOULD crash hard.
The value is beyond inflated.. it's silly bullshit at this point.

The value of Bitcoin is derived simply because of popularity.
It is effectively nothing more than a pyramid scheme of sorts at this point.
The value has almost nothing at all to do with the product in question or how well it works.

The fact the currency doesn't even work like one and the fact no one uses it as one is of no concern to you "investors" at all.

Let me put it this way.
Imagine investing in a company that made computers.
Then imagine that in time each model they put out is worse and worse and simply don't turn on and work as intended.
Should that be a call for everyone everywhere to rush in and buy the "stocks" at any price asap or risk FOMO ?
Well, that is exactly what you are all doing pushing BTC to obscene levels.
And there HAS to be a correction.. it's obvious to anyone who is not a deceitful idiot.
I'm telling you all because apparently i am the only one that actually cares.

You people are like a mother who defends their serial killer child.
I am saying the kid needs to be taken down hard.
I am the only smart one here out of 1.5 million accounts of idiot investards profiteer morons.
All the other old veteran users went silent and jumped on the greedy moron bandwagon.

History repeats.. it'll be up and down and i'll be on the side lines watching and laughing as usual.

Many have little faith in bitcoin, It won't go down that easy unless there is something extreme happens to the world or connection between the internet, But for many years of existence it becomes higher and popular and nobody ever successful in destroying it, Many have made their bitcoin lost in purpose but nothing happens to the price of bitcoin, Many have failed and right now just try and savor the value of bitcoin.

The history of the bitcoin will be proof of its future.. Since 700 B.C. money is used in many forms (such as metal, paper).

And now it evolves into bits and bytes and 0 an 1s. This is the inevitable consequence of the technology development. In my opinion, there is no way avoiding that money becomes a digital entity.

Some of the sci-fi movies also predicts these kinds of crypto currencies will be used in the future. Here is the link of Star Trek predictions for the future (https://qz.com/766831/star-trek-real-life-technology/) Imagination of the human race is the limit for the future of these kinds of crypto currencies, i believe.

It was impossible for bitcoin to reach zero value, lots of people are holding bitcoin in different wallet and account they are the only one that has control to it. Lots of people think that bitcoin is a bubble and it was kind of long-term scam, I don't believe it but in case it was true then it is one of the reason bitcoin will reach zero, in other terms the lost of bitcoin value.

Well if thats the case then yes, everythung eill go to zero unless there is some emergence of other cryptocurrency to replace bitcoin on top. In other words bitcoin is the main barometer of every currency as of now, so if everything goes to worst like bitcoin going to zero then everything will follow as well.

I think that if BTC price will go to zero (IMHO very very hard) the "cryptocurrency game" will over.

If bitcoin will go to zero value, I guess everything will be valued at zero also since the basis of pairing is mostly on Bitcoin.  But this is also far from possibility because now the value of Bitcoin is very high and there are more people investing on it.  So, let's wait and see what would it be in the future.  Wink

Nope! I can't disagree more with this since major altcoins are no longer tied to Bitcoin. As a matter of fact, Bitcoin Cash, which could also be considered an altcoin, moves in quite the opposite direction to the price Bitcoin original, at least most of the time. It can even be said that if Bitcoin is going to hit the ground level in the next couple years, it will be precisely because of Bitcoin Cash taking the lead.

Based on what I read in facebook ( I can't remember who's that ) the bitcoin is a big scam, there is a big syndicate behind that cause of zero price of bitcoin in the future. There plan is to close the bitcoin if the volume is too high to make a money. True or not, we need to be smart in our money, we don't need depend our profit in crypto-currency because no aasurance/stable income.
Do not believe everything you read in Facebook or in places where people can just say whatever they want without having any proof to back it up, it is going to be impossible to make the value of bitcoin zero, whales could in theory crash the price but by doing so they will lose a fortune so it is in their best interest that the prices keep going higher instead of going lower.

I think it's impossible to get a bitcoin to zero, but now it's a matter that the bitcoin is zero for so much money to collapse, but if the zero bitcoin would most likely have bought a lot of bitcoins and waited for the price to rise that would happen very quickly

If bitcoin went to  $0 at this time, cryptocurrency in general would likely fail. However in 10 years when cryptocurrency becomes more adopted maybe bitcoin wont be a dominate coin in which case if it goes to $0 it might not change a thing.

It would be detrimental to all the other coins if bitcoin goes to zero, cause pretty much everything else will also go to zero. It might go down in price but doubt it will be back at $0 Smiley

With the rate bitcoin is going now, it would be very difficult for it to go to zero. But if it eventually does, it would be as a result of not being able to use it for transactions.

I think bitcoin will never go back to zero and I am just wondering why does even someone past like this when everybody knows the potential of bitcoin and I am sure that bitcoin will be back with a huge pump in upcoming days like it has happened in the past and don't worry it's not the end of bitcoin it's just a fork and festive season so bitcoin transaction are less which is leading to dump in the value.

Am I spamming? Report me!

I do not think that this will happen in future. There can be a slight drop down but it will not drastically decreased and till zero. I believe that it will go up continuously.
