wait for another milestone update from labcoin and watch your shares at least double if not triple... at least we now have a potential alternative to AM in terms of costing. Producing in China will always present better advantage over other chip manufacturers.. 28nm and other stuff are still way way long to go from now.. Haswell and latest AMD chips have already taken all the spots to print 28nm fabs for at least a year in advance...

for those of you who have spare time.. read the thread below, it describes how AM shares went from 0.1 to its current value and they were in pretty much the same stage as labcoin is in now..

Oh darn!! sell sell sell!!

Seems like someone listened :-)

But seriously, between this thread and the BTCT thread and myself, there are now thousands of shares sold more than those people have held. I would think this is a major reason for concern. Watching the total number of shares, though, it doesn't seem like this is increasing the number, but those shares and the money must come from somewhere.

I don't know why people rushing to buy btcgarden, its a 2 million IPO at 0.016, it will sell forever, expect others will sell their shares at lower IPO price.

Hmm, I guess I posted in this thread at a bad time.  At least I'm the only "fool"

Just read this.  I tried to post a response:

While I don't personally know TheSwede, I can say with certainty that there was no collusion between Labcoin and BTC-TC.

I suspect if there were we would have, oh, I don't know:
  - increased the available share count given the high demand?
  - or maybe allowed the auction style IPO to proceed?
  - or kow-towed to the demands that we stretch it out?

We had our problems today for sure, but proposing that BTC-TC would be in on any scam intentionally is completely unfounded.

Cheers.

But their system responds with something about me not being human.

Not particularly surprised.

There was definitely a locking issue earlier this evening.  I'm trying to parse the logs to figure it out.

I have cleaned up all the negative share issues by "rewinding" the transactions that created them, except with my account as the buyer.  That way neither the buyer or the seller get screwed.  (buyer keeps what they bought, seller keeps what was theirs, gives up what wasn't theirs, burnside ends up holding the bag.)

A pox on the users that noticed their ask get filled twice, then withdrew all their funds.   Sad

Cheers.

I think they're just angry I don't charge 30 BTC for an account.

Or maybe it's that I don't have an MPEx account.

At one time it was tempting but they still charge fees on top of entrance cost and have few listings so compared to the other exchanges not worth it.
I guess they will still be accessible via Tor if the fed ever goes for them though XD

I also noticed this rubbish earlier; spent a few hours asking to remove my username from that list, as I am not affiliated with labcoin but he's got it into his head everyone of those guys, as well as burnside are shills or sockpuppets on labcoins payroll.. did a bit of digging on the guy- mpex junk and old history and he is a weird character to put it mildly; one of those "special" guys, anyway his condition is well documented.  I don't think much more needs to be said, better just ignore the gypsy

Well there is a giant ignore on MPOE but I watch for entertainment

They released their game betas beta if you want to go play it on a linux only system
