Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

My suggestion to you was never put all your capital savings in any altcoins or ethereum even for bitcoin itself. At least you have still reserve  money in your pocket and I think it is a wise decision to make mate.

It really depends on your risk appetite. But Ethereum are basis of most of the ICOs so definitely price would grow because more and more people are participating in ICO and most of them accepts only Ethereum as payment.
So I think it is much safer to hold Ethereum. This is only MY OPINION and NOT A  RECOMMENDATION.

You have an ETH? Since ETH is in a slow moving phase, I would recommend to sell it. To a good and fast moving altcoin in ETH pairs. For example, GNT/ETH,  COSS/ETH , etc. is an example of ETH pairs with good movement. Sooner or later. Your ETH would become 1.5ETH or 2ETH.

Please note that, this decision is really depends on your selection of altcoin. if you can find a better altcoin or ICO by doing more studies, it will be really benefit for you rather holding ETH. If that selected coin is a scam or just shit coin, your gone.....so please do homework and own research about coin projects and invest carefully...

This is what I did when I had a very little portfolio. 10% 10 times. Whatever coin i bought i invested only 10% of my asset. I used stop lose. From 10 different coins most of my coins gave me profit so overall i was in profit. Ofcourse I did my research.

I think that you should split your coins, buy altcoins with the other half then hold on to the other half, You could also invest some of it for your money to grow in the long run. Investment is the key to earn profit but always be wary when investing because some ICO's are scam and you might lose all your money. Never invest if you're not prepared to lose your money.
