I think it so risky. But "high risk, high return", you can earn much more money. You need to learn risk management and stoploss. Good luck.

If you just save your money in a coin certainly less developed it because if you could put on some coins of course opportunities for profit is enormous. Even though you did this very risky but if in view of the enormous benefits. And you must be confident about the decisions you take and this can make you successful.

Of course, it is too risky nowadays to just rely on one type of asset. You should learn how to diversify your investments by not relying on one altcoin only. As the old saying goes, do not put all of your eggs in a single basket. You know why? If one goes down, all of it would go down too. By putting some of your funds to various altcoins, at least you would lessen your frustration or disappointment in case the market falls.
Yes right, putting all the money on one risk is certainly very risky, it's the same as the saying that placing eggs in one basket, if the basket is broken then all the eggs break.

Yeah it's so risky, and may be you lose all of your money in 1 moment. Be carefully, control risk and time you want to hold.

In my opinion it is really very risky for one to invest in one coin specially if that is the only money you have left for investment. If you have lots of cash then you can invest in several coins and then even if one of them got good profits then at least you can have your money back.

do you invest all your money on 1 altcoin? it's too risky. even it can be labeled very dangerous for your finances. I suggest you to share your money on some crypto currency investments. do not hold it in 1 coin only
if you invest your money in some coins, then the risk of losing you can be minimized when the price of altcoin falls

3DES finally launched their tokens. It's a very interesting project, I've been holding it since autumn.  The team develops a tasks exchange to process 3D printing models, MVP is ready, but recently they announced scaling up the project concept to create a universal computing tasks exchange. For now the tokens are only on Etherdelta, and soon will be on IDEX. I think I got to buy lots of them.

Yes, of course it's risky. I believe that the portfolio should consist of at least 10 different coins. It increases the chance of it growth.

Dear friend. With your money, to earn much money, i think you can buy ICOs, the smartest way to invest. You can find out how to buy ICO from this forum or from the google.com. I hope my idea can help you. Many thanks

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks
$ 500 in an altcoin or bitcoin. It's perfectly suited. You can own NEO or bitcoin or ETH or XLM, Etc. However, it is necessary to remain active and flexible in the selection and allocation of funds. well, this should not be a habit. Of course, your investment will increase. Consider> 3 altcoin of great value and reputation to ensure variety.

Yes, it's too risky when you invest in one coin, you should invest 5 coins instead. Cryptocurrency is very volatile so think before you invest. You should invest on bitcoin and ethereum then choose more 3 coins to minimize the risks.

if in my opinion too risky, because money if we do not care can lose our money all. so if the advice is more money you are divided into two for investment in the world of crypto and in the real world

Wouldnt be a bad idea to take a look at some ICOs, if that counts as an altcoin to you.
I have a few here that you might possibly be interested in.

Of course, this is risky if you put everything on a single asset, better to diverrsify your money and try to divide it all on a few different coins, like bitcoin, ethereum, cardano and stellar, those are more than good if you are just a newbie

Yes, it's quite risky to put all your money on one single coin. But if you can't afford to buy more than one coin, I suggest you to pick established altcoins like ETH, LTC or BCH.

It is a big risk to go all in.

How much you have to invest is not really important for that decision, you should always diversify a bit even if you start with $50.

I suggest you to split in 3, for something a bit safe $200 in BTC then $150 in 2 others projects.

or you can try something like this :

$200 in BTC
$150 in STRAT
$75 in an other project
$75 in an other project

Should not invest in STRAT, I think this coin can not make much profit. Ideally, we should invest $ 300 in BTC, $ 100 in ETH and $ 100 left to invest in a secure ICO project. That is the way to reduce the risk
