Can ETH reach BTC value ?

For now ethereum value are so far to the bitcoin prices, but there's a chance that ETH was reach their price but it takes a lot of period of time before it happen. In my sight even how hard ethereum works they can't reach equally to bitcoin price.

Yes, it is true . for now the price of ethereum is increasing but to be able to reach bitcoin price seems still need long process. but ethereum is perfect for long-term investment

it might happen, but it takes a very long time and gradual process so that ETC can reach BTC value, for now that I see with big increase of ETC, do not rule out this ETC can mencai BTC value.

If ETH are going to release a new innovation to their network the has a a very huge impact that is really going to lead to mas adoption then I think it can but right now there's no sign that there is anything like that so it will just always be the second to the king in terms of value.

I think it's far away but it depends on when the bitcoin price goes down and the price of ethereum increases, so it will diminish the future ethereum when it happens.

I don't think it would reach bitcoin value in 2018, but it will definitely get there in a few years time. It is a high potential coin for the long-term investment.

It just need some more time to reach or to be at par with the value of bitcoin. Ethereum should attract more investors to further enhance its capability to reach higher price level. But before reaching the value of bitcoin, ethreum should try to retake the position taken from it by ripple. Ripple is now the no.2 in coin market capitalization and it might also try to reach the value of bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin started also like ethereum with even a lower value and not enough acceptability throughout the world and still managed to reach tremendous growth in terms of value so I really think ethereum would have a greater chance to reach high value compared to bitcoin since cryptocurrencies are somehow acceptable now.

Of course it can, it just needs more time to reach bitcoin value right now, ethereum has more transaction per second and more usage than bitcoin right now so it's very possible for it to reach bitcoin value, if they keep making their network better then surely it's value will increase a lot, i expect ethereum to reach $10k in 3 year.

Your comments are great. ETH is the focus of this year. BTC capitalization has fallen from 43% to 38% on Dec 19 2017. Trends in 2018 will be the favors of smart contracts. NEO, QTUM has launched a token. Companies have replaced IPO with ICO. This makes smart contract platforms hotter.

I believe ETH will do some huge numbers, might not really get to bitcoin price level so soon but it's got huge potential because tokens are built on it and the Ethereum Alliance is huge...2018 would be great for ethereum I think

ETH can hardly push upto $1k so reaching BTC's price is very impossible right now.

Yes probably, It can overtake Bitcoin's value as well as replace Bitcoin in the Coinmarketcap. But not now or within a few months. Ethereum is the base of majority of ICOs so it is not possible that Ethereum will reach the value of Bitcoin.

This coin could be Ethereum and other currency is being supported. they might ditch bitcoin in order to make for a new coin.

I also think that ETH can push up to $1k but reaching BTC's price i don't think so an the moment.
The big advantage is that most of the coins can be bought with ETH and BTC of cause. But bit is solwer in the transaction and much much expensive for each transaction costs.
so if you look at the people on coinbase for examble they will use ETH to enter the coin world an will also hold a bit.

In my opinion the ETH will be on of the winners in 2018 but not like some alt coins but a much more stable coin.

yet it has an ability to reach btc value but i would not say that i will reach it on short term but on long term it cam but i do not know how many year would it take to reach the bitcoin value because the bitcoin demand is still going up

Its not going to be easy, thats for sure. Bitcoin has reached a level that is above all other cryptocurrencies right now... But no one can predict what might happen in the next 5 years, and i see Ethereum with the potential to go as high as BTC has, and even more.
