The gap between bitcoin and ethereum is widening.
Unless there is big progress in ethereum development, there is no chance for it to catch up with bitcoin.

why not? Of course it can. Eth can surely beat bitcoin because eth is indeed a good coin with lots of development while bitcoin doesnt seem to improve until now. many people say that eth is much better than bitcoin and i also agree with that because eth is more usefull or rather lots of usage and purpose when compared to bitcoin. However in terms of price , bitcoin is maybe leading but soon eth can surely catch up because it is consistent.

No, it's never happen because the total coin supply of the Ethereum is huge. in order to reach BTC price its need a lot of money to come in to crypto

Can be. I think still possible. but it does not seem to be something that ETH can easily achieve in the near future.

we are far from such a scenario. Prices of all alt coins are moved by the same percentage that bitcoin moves. When btc moves 20% up then most alts follow the pattern (up trend), same applies for down trend. alt coins need to build up their own existence. in recent days we had stupid price movement but tricky ones are around the corner. ETH can bounce to area of 770$.

I think so too. In general, I do not understand why the price of Bitcoin is so great. Transactions are expensive, few people use the bitcoin network. Only the face remains.

nothing impossible, but it is seem too hard of ethereum to reach Btc value. Eth is an altcoin and btc is the main coin
I am not sure ETH will be better than btc.

Well for me in my own opinion fundamentally speaking ofcourse ETH can reach BTC value because ETH has a good network/technology, roadmap, teams, project and community. Unlike BTC we all know that high fees and slow transaction but still reach that price aroud of $19k last December 2017. If all the people really know how technology of each coins work probably that's the time ETH will reach/surpass BTC value.

I think if the overall market cap of crypto is at a few trillion eth could easily be worth ten thousand dollars but I think if eth is ever worth that bitcoin will be 100k

The price of Bitcoin will decrease and the price of Ethereum increase x10 current price, just when this situation happend, the price of Ethereum can higher than or reach the Bitcoin price. However, the cryptocurrency investor need to have the reason to make the value of Ethereum higher than Bitcoin at that time.

Ethereum will not only reach Bitcoins value but surpass it in the future. With the way development work is being done for Eth it is going way ahead of BTC. There is sharding, POS and plasma coming for Ethereum while there isn't anything substantial for Bitcoins in the near future other than lightning network which has been in the development for few years now.

ETH actually has faster transaction then to Bitcoin so most people invest in ETH ! and it is possible to Eth can get 4000$ in some day but Bitcoin will remain as it !

For me ethereum is the next Bitcoin. Like bitcoin, Ethereum also has great potential. This is the main reason for the gradual rise in Ethereum prices so there is the possibility of eth value equal to bitcoin.
