What's a good way to monitor 4 rigs that are running Windows 10 mining Zcash at flypool?
I had two of the 4 go down yesterday (restarted apparently) and I didn't notice until today. Flypool had a beta feature where they'd email you but that doesn't seem to work.
Put worker names on them, or EthMonitor. That's what I did, I got ethmonitoring.com and set that up. Really like it so far. Thanks!

Lots of cards starting to pop up online second hand! Still outrageously priced, but i'm sure there will be some bargains soon.
give it a few more weeks, I warned all those fools paying tripple retail price it was a bad idea few people listened. The longer this blood bath lasts the worse it gets for idiots who paid $900 for a 1070 and $700 for 580s 🤦🏿♂️ Or $1300+ for a GTX 1080 Ti.... I sort of feel bad for them, but mostly for their families in the cases of people maxing out credit cards or taking loans thinking they could get rich quick without taking a peak at how history repeats itself over and over. I blame all the utubers "How to make $15 a day mining on one gtx 1080 TI!! Print your own monies!" I am glad I did not buy the expensive GTX 1080Ti. I think I can buy them for below $800 in a few weeks. Keep dreaming lol... if this last huge drop wasn't enough to kill the GPU gouging market, not sure it will end any time soon... and overall market if already back up about 40% from the bottom a few days ago. Yes, there is more supply hitting the market now but even the ones that are "only" marked up $100-$150 (newegg & amazon) are gone instantly. The only ones i've seen stick available for more than 1-2 minutes are the $730-ish 1070ti's that came in at B&H. Sorry jokers, Im not paying nearly 50% above retail from a MF'ing retailer lol! but clearly a lot of people are. Dare I say those cards will never ROI? Or maybe in 1+ years IF the market really skyrockets again... a lot of ifs. yeah $550 is my max for a 1070 or 107ti , $350 max for an RX 580 8GB until prices drop to those levels ill just hold my coins and wait for the next pump I found some decent fully built gaming deals. 2 card rx 580 for 1313 plus tax 2 card 1080ti for 2200 plus tax both have i7 8700 thats still too high for me, plus Im stuck with gaming box ram and cpu etc Ill wait till volta is released and maybe have some friends pic up some cards locally for me in your case they don't work. for some they are an option. I sold off a few units with 2 1080ti's set in cases and using smos. I got 2k each I don't mind getting 2 for 2200 each for 200 bucks cost on each I get. an i7 8700 vs i3 7100 2 new 1080 ti's windows 10 vs smos 1 tb hdd vs usb stick 8gb ram vs 4gb ram new 1 year warranty vs 9 month old gear.. if you do the math a 1080ti is still worth more then 900 . if it earns 4 dollar a day and spends 200 watts it nets 3.50 a day x 300 days = 1050 . So if you buy a gaming rig and net 2100 in 300 days the rig has at least 900 value so I turn 2200 into 3000 in 10 months . But that is my model selling gently used gear at good prices. Like the s-9's I sold not marked upped like nuts. BTW still have more s-9s a two board and a three board left are left. the two board has a third board that died in about 1 month of use. the three board is older works well yeah you have a good process, for me selling stuff is a pain, plus the parts on those gaming rigs are of no use to me anymore since i have standardized on those 8 gpu onda boards which use smaller ram etc matter of fact o have a ton of normal mother boards and 8gb ddr4 ram sticks I probably need to start listing on amazon since i cant sell on ebay with no paypal pm sent

Probably could have got a few more of the 1070ti's but I wasn't sure what the limit was (we have a self-policing limit, not the mandated limit such as newegg) and by the time I read in the fine print that there is apparently no limit on GPUs, they were gone. Oh well, Im happy to get the 4 i did as I was already running 2 of that model and really loved them! About a week ago, I also sold off my 3 Vega 56's. Ended up getting about $900 each for them as ebay Buy-it-nows. So, came pretty close to doubling my money on them. Probably could have got a bit more if I listed them as auctions but didn't want to take that chance for 2 main reasons. #1 is that I listed 1 as an auction the week before and it ended at like $960 but the winner was an f'ing deadbeat buyer, never paid or communicated. In fact, at least half of the bids on that thing were from people with 1 or 0 feedback, which is not what i wanted to see. The other thing was that this was right in the middle of the big market correction, so I was fearful that demand was going to at least be reduced somewhat for these. Not the case though luckily for me. The first 2 sold within a few hours and the last one took about 12-13. First 2 went to miners and last went to a gamer. IMO, the miner purchases are downright crazy, but I will take their money lol. Even now, after the market has recovered to about 50% above it's bottom last week, Cryptonite coins are still way down as far as profitability goes with those Vega's. Monero seems to essentially be mined out now... barely above $1 a day per Vega running at 1900. Electronuem and Sumo are better at close to $3/day but those coins are still fringe IMO. So basically, at current rates, it will take about 1 year to ROI a $900 Vega, which is exactly why I sold my 3 lol. Those proceeds almost funded my 6x 1070ti rig lol.

900 per 1080 ti is sustainable price if you power is cheap.
3.50 to 4.00 earnings for 1 card using 5kwatts of power.
this breakdown to
3.00-3.50 profit a day per card after power
300 days = 900 to 1050 back.
cards have 1 year warranty or longer .
So at 900 the price is not terrible
prices will not drop to 700 until cards are earning
under 2 per day. Simple math dictates it.
I was happy to buy the 2 gaming pc's at 2290.00 each after tax.
They came today and are making 6.80 using 1.30 in power each so 5.50 a day would mean paid off in 416 days.
I have a 1 year warranty so I will be fine with them.
best of all I can return them for 45 days so my risk of a crash does not exist for 44 days after today.

My Zotac GTX 1050 Ti performed better overall than QuintLeo's. I just sold it, so no more testing is possible, but below are the results from each of the algos I tried, and in each case actual clocks reported by MSI AB are given. The core clock was never stable, so it's an "eyeball average," but mem clock usually was, and I didn't mess with power limit at all because power usage reporting is broken in the 1050 Ti, from what I understand.
Equihash - 190 Sols/s ~1835 core; 3800 mem; dstm 0.5.7
Ethash - 13.4 Mh/s ~1885 core*; 3800 mem; claymore dual 10.5 (* - at that time I had not yet learned that core clock doesn't matter with Ethash)
Power usage is broken in some driver versions, not in others - but setting power limit still seems to work. The original Nvidia drivers version I was using (373.06 I think) seemed to handle reporting power ok, but the 384.98 version (my current default due to it being required for the 1070 ti) does not for the 1050 ti - I get "ERR" instead of a power used figure. Your hashrate figures are a bit higher than I saw at any setting out of my EVGA model, but not a lot so. I'm not sure if you were able to clock core or memory higher as all of my testing was under LINUX and can't compare my figures to your figures on those as I have not taken the time to check to see if nvidia-smi will show actual clock figures (I THINK it's got the option in there somewhere though).

I have a single 1050Ti (MSI GAMING X) and it sits at 195 Sol/S with the following settings: As to the issue with 1050Ti's not reporting power usage, that was deliberately removed by nvidia from their drivers starting several months ago. The reason being that there is a known issue with the power usage reporting circuitry on the 1050Ti's.

Who's return policy is 45 days? only one i know off hand is best buy's gold or whatever membership tier. Just curious and wanted to know best buy elite but I am with hp.com I got through a member store from my high school job at mc Donald's these are omen gamers I get a 430 dollar discount they list for 2606 - 430 = 2176 tax is 7% = 2327 - 2% for eBay card = 2280 I timed the charge and have 45 days before the money is due. and hp.com allows returns up to 30 not 45 days. 1 year full warranty. so 2 were about 4560 they are earning 15 a day using 760 watts which is about 19 kwatts at 10 cents in the winter . so first 30 days I will have earned 390 net I am supposed to get 2 x 150 off from retail not but I am not sure if that will work out. I will need to fight for that. worker 1 and 2 https://www.nicehash.com/miner/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

I got a few similar "gaming" pc's built on Ryzens but I paid $700 more than you for each, you've got a hell of a deal there for sure - Most of them I added GPU's to, but these last 4 u can see here I ran out of GPU's so they're just running dual GPU's I bought them with in the case - and Ryzen 3 is watercooled 1080 Ti's running hot @ 61c - these cards definitely don't like to be caged in the case

Also speaking of Best Buy last year I returned a BUNCH of stuff from a remodel I was doing so it was just the Philips lights, Amazon Echos and other home automation stuff. They processed the first few items then all of a sudden the system needed a manager to override it. So I asked what happened, manager tells me "Oh because you're returning so much stuff, the system won't let you do any more returns after today, I have to override it and after today it won't let you." So I tested that one out - didn't use my Amex, used my Visa for a couple fitbits, came back the next day to see if they would let me - and they did. So if anyone gets hit with a "you can't return any more stuff" just swap credit cards

I've switched a couple of my rigs over to Nicehash. Similarly configured machines have wildly different daily estimates of earnings.
Can anyone point me to setting, configuration strategies, etc. to normalize and maximize revenue using their service?

I ordered a third one I am spending 2342 - 2% cc rebate = 2295 I may or may not get the $150 rebate from retail me not still 2295 for this one and 2280 for each of the other two this one is a 880-160 model with an i7 8700 the others are 880-150 models with an i5 8400 this is a better deal for 15 bucks you get the same with an i7 vs an i5 these will replace the three that ran at my friends office. they were diy and cost me 2000 each to build. I sold them for 2000 each after mining them for 7 months. My gut feeling is these omen pc's are going to sell out. Note my mc donalds epp store gave me an extra 130 off so I may not get the retailmenot 150 off. but if you guys open a retailmenot you will get the 150 off maybe?

If privacy is not an issue. go the nicehash email full account mine method which gives cheap withdrawal to coinbase. this will all be tracked and taxable but you save on fees. I am like Phil I have 3 btc addresses and left coins build up. I check 4 times a day manually but most often mine Zec due to ease of mining it.

I don't know if that would work or not, but I have my doubts. I do know that if you try to buy a GPU on Newegg.com that has a limit of 1 per household and you try to buy the same GPU from newegg via eBay they will cancel the second order since it's to the same household. <<< based on that I highly doubt it would work to have separate newegg accounts (unless you have a separate shipping address and possibly a separate credit card too).
