What is going on with this project? I have tokens just hanging out loosing value in my wallet... Anything new/ upcoming to make this project interesting and get people talking about ESS token?

Hello Mr. Ease, the team is not in anyway responsible for the rise or fall in token price. As the price of tokens in the open market (exchanges) is based on demand and supply which is determined by ESS traders.

As per project development, the team continues to make a steady progressive effort towards mainnet launch, iOS and Android application release in this Q4 of 2018.

In fact project look promising. They have pilot project with Finland government. But I dont know - how many times this can takes? And tokens will be needed for this or no? And why they not adding new exchanges? Its almost impossible buy tokens, because Bilaxy and Bitforex have fake volume, and Bitfinex just for big traders. They must add Kucoin, Bibox, Huobi and would be nice to see Binance

But maiinet launch by roadmap in Q4 this year already. And now in Q4 ongoing. So maiinet will be between today and December.

They raised a lot of money and developing product and even have partnerships, but tokens will not used in deal with Finland as I understand. They must care about provide good liquidity for tokens as they sold them to investors.

There are lots of announcements on the project development since the close of the public engagement for sure The Essentia team put out monthly development reports and have an Announcements-only channel where news and updates are regularly posted!

Development is of course the priority i understand that, but they should also start doing something about the marketing and price as well, in fact they should've done that a while ago. As someone mentioned, tokens lost in value more than 90% since ICO. Team should start to care about price.

The team doesn't control investors. Investors in Crypto love to manipulate.
So if the team were to control investors - the team would have to be very corupted and scammy to beat out the manipulation coming from investors.

Anyways, developing the project is how value is added.

If we evaluate the cost of essentia in Ethereum, the price of ESS fell by only 5 times, and this is the standard behavior of almost any token on the bar market.

The price of the token does not affect me so much now. I think that after launching the network, this will be more relevant.
But tokens will not used in deal with Finland, and I hope that all the following cooperation will use the service in full.
