The proof will be in March/April or is it May/June... remember no refunds or real timelines we have to stick to here because it is all just an ESTIMATE. My prediction here they fail to find an EASY solution for cooling it and 600 gh/s is just a dream. Got those chips packaged yet? Tested? Binned? Working PCB? No? Good luck waiting for this to drop it is going to take a lot longer than Slok or Inaba figures. It is already 3 months late.

You can check out the manufacturers and their products below along with a calculator here.
If you still insist on buying, do not to go for BFL. Their track record is horrid and borderline scammish.

If you are thinking about a pre-order from BFL, here are a few things you should do.

1. Go to a psychiatrist.
2. Take the money you are going to use for their hardware and burn it in a huge pile.
3. Sit alone in a dark room for a few days and think about what is wrong with your life.

Doing a pre-order from BFL is like getting kicked in the nuts and then asking for another.

3 months?

Yup, from October to January is already 3 months, and they don't have a working chip yet. They'll be much later than 3 months before they ship anything.

Note: I have Erk on ignore as well for his apologetics for BFL and their products based on ignoring the volume evidence supported in the BFL and Bitcointalk forums that they have a terrible record on shipping ON TIME.
Fingers in my ears!! BLABLABLANAHNAHNAH I can't hear you I can't hear you! Ignore buttons are for pussies that lack real arguments. No roi for monarchs means no roi for your imaginary wasps right?

I have to say, the Monarch is gonna likely be trash....

But the BFL BitSafe looks simple enough that they can't mess it up.

naw my problem was buying the hype last APRIL when they said I'd get my stuff in MAY at the latest

was looking at getting the stuff near THANKSGIVING so only option with bfl no refund and non-enforcement by FTC (hey if you can't get your device in 6 months contact us again..same with paypal which I did for paypal 6 months in and they said go away too many bfl complatints (paypal exec committee on fraud said this)

so.....no refund the stuff shows up I ordered in April will be a 'brick' when it arrives

forced update to the monarch (yech...)

so I have 900gh coming supposedly.....likely won't matter a brick in nov or a brick with monarch this april..or may....a brick is a brick

if I'm KINDA lucky I MAY get more $$$ back on the monarch then the bricks I woulda got in NOV...but that is pretty much the only hope I have at this point

but those that are buying NEW UNITS now without research (a simple bfl on google will tell people about this horrible company) then yeah....even a NOOB should do that before ordering even if bfl does have all them nice asic porn pics of pretty miners on their site etc (soooo pretty...soooooo unavailable)

anyway beware noobs reading this thread.....all the awful stories about bfl are true!

Hey Searing... since you think it's going to be a brick, I assume you won't mind if we deliver your unit last, right?  I mean, according to you, a brick is a brick, so if you get it at the end of the line you won't mind, right?

You were not forced in to anything. If you had taken delivery of your 65nm when you were up for it, you would have ROI'd and been in the black already.  You know it, I know it... everyone knows it.  You just want to whine and bitch because that's your hobby.  So please, by all means, cry some more... everyone loves hearing you whine.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

You know you could just do the honorable thing and offer refunds for orders that have not gone into production or shipped yet, right ?

Any comments on the anecdotes we've been reading about your "Buy now ! We have 65nm product ready-to-ship from stock" Black Friday sales, where people requested refunds after they had apparently not received product for over three weeks after placing orders, and then upon them making formal refund requests - Again, something you stated you would be honoring at the time of the sales - having their orders mysteriously moved to Shipping or Production status overnight - effectively being denied a refund ?

I find it difficult to believe it is coincidence that people requesting refunds suddenly have their orders shipped.

Was the fact that you stated that you were offering refunds for those unshipped Black Friday sales a mistake ?

Can you offer any insight as to how many refund requests were made during the sales, and how many were honored ?

Finally, when might you be accepting Credit Cards or Paypal for ordering your products ? I hear people on your Facebook have been asking about this, apparently...

For those that don't know.

BFL customers went after the company through the executive office at PayPal.
PayPal customers apparently charged back their refunds after BFL refused to give them one in emails.
PayPal customers got their hands on at least a quarter of a million dollars. Maybe up to several multiples of that.
The best speculation we have to date, is probably that BFL's PayPal Merchant account was seized and frozen.
Most funds that were successfully returned likely came from the (purported) frozen account and it's remaining funds.

Frankly, BFL no longer maintains the ability to charge credit cards through PayPal or it's website.

Some would say, that in an effort to stem the discontent. BFL offered 65nm ASIC customers the chance to upgrade their undelivered orders to a 28nm "pre-order" product called "Monarch".

The Monarch product is now 3 months behind schedule.
The previous 65nm product was 1 year+ delayed in bulk shipments.

Maybe not Forced, but Extorted is the perfect word, BFLiars did a great job pretending to have the first to ship ASIC's Stealing all the potential funds from the competition before they were ready, Before BFL was even ready, It was a clusterfuck of lies that resulted in a product that missed every specification by 300% and shipped 6-8 months late

BFL lied to make it seem that if you didn't order from them, You'd lose the "bitcoin race", Yet at the time of advertising "shipping next month", They had NOTHING

And OH!, If you "made a scene" about how much you disliked BFL, You would get a Forced refund.
Basically BFL Conned ALOT of people into being Invtestors with ZERO return. Think about it, They had nothing but lies till they took our money.

Like, What the fuck is BFL doing? Look at Inaba's fucking post, He's clearly going "I don't like you, so how about because of what you said im going to Fuck your paid order over, and shove you to the back of the line, regardless of when you paid, and when I told you to expect it to ship"

Oh, Lets not forget they've had a "F" BBB rating Twice, and they keep paying the BBB ponzi scheme to change thier rating.
Whats with the FCC CE ETL certified device that has NEVER had power run through it? (Red PCB Monarch prototype) It has no fucking wiring! Yet is FCC certified?!

I wonder where Darren "Bicknellski" Bicknells promised hardware is?  He promised to deliver it in December and here it is January and nothing... yep, certainly the guy I would take advice from.

Let's see how well you can run a company.

http://www.bbb.org/kansas-city/Business-Reviews/electronic-equipment-and-supplies-wholesale-and-manufacturers/bf-labs-inc-in-overland-park-ks-1000002011

F rating, 121 customer complaints. Impressive results!

Still on track to deliver in October, November, December, January?

^ I think over at BFL they probably use something similar to the musical scales to track performance, therefore they must believe they are but one step from reaching the highest rating, and this is evident in their attitude Cheesy.
