I am a novice too when it comes to a lot of things related to bitcoins but I am aware how bitcoins are known to be extremely volatile in nature and as such is expected to go up and down, plateau, or whatever from time to time.  It is known to fluctuate in value especially during the last and first quarter of every year, maybe because of activities in the market too and how users behave. Having said that, I don't see 2018 as bitcoin's year of downfall.  It may bring about a whole new set of challenges because of new coins coming and going and with better playforms but I personally feel that bitcoins will continue to surpass these challenges.  Otherwise, should there be a coin that could be at par with bitcoin this year, I think that's ok and it would not mean downfall right away for bitcoins.  It's too early to predict, I know that, but I agree with most comments here that bitcoin will still remain supreme this year.

Bitcoin prices have declined due to sudden, some countries bitekkane banning. In the past few years, Bitcoin was on the decline and grow. However, this year has decreased slightly.
Like that, but I still believe, bitoin will continue to increase again and more in demand, so it's unlikely this bitcoin will disappear from the world market. Even now, although the value is not as high as last year, but its value remains well above the altcoin.

Of course not, if you want to visit the chart of bitcoin you can see it. It's pump and dump the price because that's the one disanvantage to these cryptocurrency. For me I love volatile of this bitcoin, it might advantage or disanvantage. If bitcoin has a stable price maybe it's boring.

Many predict that 2018 bitcoin will fall, but I do not think it will happen, because of the fluctuating bitcoin value there will be many possibilities that will occur in 2018.
Although at the beginning of 2018 bitcoin has declined in value, I hope it's only temporary and hopefully in the next month it's in 2018 this bitcoin value will rise again and continue to rise beyond the achievements of 2017 '
That's my greatest hope for bitcoin in 2018............ Smiley

Statistically, as what I have observed, a number of people using bitcoin is going bigger each day. So, for me, 2018 is not the downfall of bitcoin.
It may have lowered it's price but it's not a 'downfall' since a lot of people still using bitcoin for transactions. It would only be in it's downfall when users doesn't use bitcoin anymore.

I think this year is not a year where the decline in bitcoin prices are so dysfunctional, instead it's going to be the opposite, a lot of speculation about bitcoin prices nowadays, there's also that agree with some that this will spur bitcoin prices next month, maybe bitcoin prices just to take the square off to get even crazier than last year ...

No this cannot happen at all.Bitcoin is the now the leading cryptocurrency and it cannot degrade in such an easy manner. The users of bitcoin are increasing day by day and more people are investing in bitcoin because it gives huge profit rates in shorter duration. Its price increases day by day.Since it is the period of digitization, cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are getting very popular.

2018 might be the year of government opposition against cryptocurrency trading?

But some time after that, it comes back because there is no way around this revolutionary blockchain technology?

In cryptocurrency. No coin is always rise they also have dip.like what happened in past this is also a temporary dip for bitcoin. After few months it will rise soon

Usually we see it is happened in altcoins, and last year bitcoin has given us a lot of profit that is why now everyone want to see all the rise bitcoin. I agree with you it is temporary dump of bitcoin after few months we will see the change in bitcoin price.

I wouldnt say 2018 is a downfall for btc, but I don't think it will reach 20k again this year. During this year ethereum will become the number 1 cryptocurrency.

I don't figure any year would be the downfall of BTC not by any means 2018 on the grounds that it surely achieves distinctive esteems in various days that is simply part of the framework. At the point when more individuals put resources into BTC that is the place it will go up once more. We simply need to sit back and watch.

Honestly, I am waiting for the bad news for all crypto currencies which can come from the South Korea. I think that the crypto exchange markets will be banned or temporary closed in this country in the near future.

I'm sure this is a planned game. Alas, it is not yet known, in whose favor the puppeteer will pull the threads. With equal success, it can be a global downward correction, as well as a set of masses before heading to new heights. Even the most authoritative analytical agencies have become entangled in the forecasts: some predict the "chronicles of the dive bomber" and call the current state of the chart a "set of recent passengers," others talk about the $ 40,000 rate by the end of February 2018.
