Se ad un Legendary non servono più merit per salire ulteriormente di rango, dovrebbe essere impedito dal sistema potergliene dare. E nel caso di bounty che richiedono un numero di merit per accedere, un Legendary si assume avere un numero di merit infinito, quindi mi sembra corretto che abbia accesso automatico a tutte le bounty, scavalcando ogni soglia di merit.

Le regole delle campagne non sono decise dal forum ma dai devs o dai bounty manager a cui si affidano, oggi alcuni vogliono 1.250 Merit per i Legendary (che partono da 1.000), non credo che si possa imporre la loro accettazione.

Then run Conway's Game of Life on the cells. If the cells never stop moving even after infinite steps, then you advance to the next rank.

For example, consider someone with these stats:

Activity: 56
Politeness: 36
fMerit: 56
Imagination: 36
Virtue: 40
Coins: 56
Karma: 40

This gives you a grid like:



This never ends, so the person will advance in rank.

Rank adjustments happen every week on Tuesday, and you can only go up 1 rank per week.

Be', qualunque idea che permetta ai top ranks di mantenere i loro privilegi e spartirsi uno torta che tra l'altro diventa sempre più misera, è ovviamente accolta con gridolini di entusiasmo dagli altri top ranks.

E visto che - come avevo già scritto - i terzomondisti non si fanno problemi ad aprirsi cento conti e a scrivere migliaia di messaggi pur di guadagnare qualcosa (con buona pace dello spam e con massima soddisfazione dei dev, che così hanno bassa manovalanza sottopagata che fa girare la signature, quindi con la massima soddisfazione delle parti implicate), ma c'è pur sempre il rischio che qualcuno salga di rango (chessò, io magari tra qualche mese potrei anche diventare full member), e questo non è tollerabile, ecco che appaiono i geni. Compresi.

Edit:  I removed red trust from users I'd left it for, for suspected merit abuse only.  That doesn't include the bounty cheaters or members who'd committed some other offense concurrently.  I'm still in the process of removing all those negs for shitposters.  I thought I'd gotten them all, but it seems there's always more.

Sembra abbiano ridotto lo sMerit free che davano gratis alle merit source, almeno ad alcune di loro da 50 a 2 .

Le mie perplessità continuano ad aumentare.
Se questo è vero -> There are 80 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 17800 sMerit per 30 days, la media si aggira sulle 222.5 a merit source MA se alcune merit source hanno ricevuto ora 2 sMerit da dare via significa che alcuni hanno diverse migliaia di sMerit o che il numero è fake.

I would gladly tag merit abusers, but as I've said before it appears Theymos doesn't want that, and I have to respect his stance.  Also, these cases of abuse are much less clear to me than account sales or even campaign cheating.  There definitely can be users who really like what one particular person has to say, and I might tag such a person unnecessarily.  I don't feel like dealing with the backlash of that, nor do I really want to neg someone and be totally wrong.

This all will take care of itself eventually; I have some faith that this'll be true.  We're only in month 2 of the merit system, so it's still young.  It wasn't designed to stamp out shitposters immediately--it's a gradual, long-term thing I think.  We'll see in a year or two.
