Before I bought my first bitcoin, I carefully studied the security issue. I noticed that the main victims of hackers are beginners who do not even think about security. I use complex passwords, hardware wallet and two-factor authentication. So hackers are not afraid of me  Smiley

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Of course yes!, I think most people with huge amount of bitcoin and ether are afraid to hacker and they are aiming for maximum security in their account. Once hackers attack, we all know that they have nothing to get back what they hack from us. Then, the best way to do is ensure your account is secured and your the only person that can access on it.

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

I'm very afraid of hackers and even if I use many precautions I lost 5 NEO (I still don't know how they have done)....
I use a Ledger Nano S for every coin that is supported..... but I hope in the future there will be more and more safer way to protect our coins..

Computer scammers are not only in the crypto world, but in our daily lives. Of course, it's unpleasant to face them, but these are risks, so you should pay close attention to safety

im afraid yes. Cryptocurrency is so vunerable with hacking and its virtual money that intangible. But with development of technology i do  believe it will make hacking become more complicated and imposible.
I would like to point out that crypto currency is not vulnerable to hacking, but people do does not take time to learn about how to safe guard their coins are to be blamed for loosing their coins to hackers, before investing any money make sure you learn how to store it carefully and most of the hacks happened in exchanges and so the main thing you have to understand is that it is not safe to store you money in exchanges.

Not afraid because I don't hold that much coins and I don't store coins for a long time in a wallet. I usually convert coins for fiat or transfer it on exchange sites.

I am not afraid of them I just take some securities steps in order not to loose my funds, for example, I never log in on exchanges when I am not at home and do not link public WI-FI, moreover those coins that I keep long term I store on ledger nano s and do not plug it in till 2020 at least. I am personally afraid of hackers. Also I think that all the networks have viruses. We are not protected by anti-viruses.
I recently participated in conference and listened to statistics and brief explanations of viruses. It was said that antiviruses can save you only from existing viruses (with known patterns). TODAY there are viruses that adopt and have unique codes, thus any antivirus system can find them until they made harm and were added to the virus base. Nowadays I think about purshase of a separate notebook and hard wallet to store my crypto. Of course currently I don't have much, but one day prices may be very high and attractive to hackers.

Ofcourse yes , Well you can not tell the talent and skill of hackers so it is possible that they can hack cryptocurrency . Just a safety precaution and secure and tight protection is needed to avoid this. Technologies now a days are now easy to hack and scam. If you are holding too much coins it is a good idea to check and ask your self if you think your coins are secure and protected to the hackers.

I think hackers mostly focused on ICO or low-cap exchanges, because it it's more profitable for them then hack someones personal wallet. Never keep all your funds in one exchange/wallet. For long-term hold the best option will be cold wallet like ledger or trezor.

The hacker is floating the fear of many. If you are holding Bitcoin or other crypto coins, you are solely responsible for securing them. The worst thing is that one day you opened your purse and saw all the wings. A safe way to store Bitcoin is to store it in cold wallets

Copy Paste This is the simplest and most effective way for hackers to steal your money. You want to send Bitcoin to someone's address, copy and paste that address to make the Bitcoin transfer. Thanks to a simple program called CryptoShuffler, the address you copied will be changed to one or several characters, your assets are transferred to a non-professional hacker strangers. Please re-read the address that you paste down, this is the sure way to eat

Never install strange software, from unreliable developers. Malware is very easy to install on the machine from this software. Install the reputable anti-virus software. Do not install any extension when trading crypto cores. It's best to turn on privacy

Let's look at the facts here, hackers are everywhere. They not only electronically steal money from other people, some steal identities and private lives. A lot do it for profit but there will always be those who hack just for the heck of it or even fame. At best, we should practice secure browsing habits and educate ourselves in order to protect ourselves and others. Especially now that crypto currency is gaining a lot of electronic grounds at a very rapid pace.

Of course, I'm afraid of them especially when I have something in my account the I really value the most. That is why I don't just click any links because it might be a trap. They are everywhere and we have to be more alert and be sensitive on what site we are visiting.

of course we all are afraid of getting hacked

don't use the same passwords, store your private key in a very safe place (offline wallet paper recommended), have a 2fa activated, don't click suspicious link, etc.
