Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
yep, I think everyone who is here and me has the same fear of hackers
I thinks the professional hackers always look for a gap to enter if they want, they are great people from the black world
for security, I do as best I can
1. keep login ID and Password wallet on different pc
2. not open my account on another pc to anticipate the spread of malware
3. logout when the transaction is done
4. make sure pc is not infected with malware using malware protection

This type hacking many times happening on the online wallets and trading site. Some hash power rental sites also been hacked some of the time. If you know the last hack on nice hash server you will not keep your fund on the any online wallet which does not give the private key access to you.
Wallet like Coinbase should not be used at anytime if you want to save your fund long time.
I suggest to have the funds on the desktop wallets like electrum or multibit which is more safer to you and private key secured.
can you explain, how strong the desktop wallets
sorry, I'm new here "internet security"
I want to learn from you !
thank's, keep success

For sure almost everyone is afraid of hackers. Who would like their hard earned money be in hand of others against their will by the way? But then our wallet according to some who have more knowledge is almost impossible to decrypted and hack even by genius computer geeks (well still possible but might have a very minimal account) so that reason make me feel comfortable enough that my funds are safe as long as I keep my PKs secret and be careful logging in to any site that required my wallet's credentials.

Everything that has to do with online these days is not safe, especially when it comes to online wallets. Crimes online cannot be avoided , its either you get scammed or your wallet's password been stolen. Being afraid of hackers is a normal thing especially when you are working online such as trading or exchanging. You must be aware and be updated of the crimes that is happening online to avoid worst situations or if even you encountered it you will know what to do and when to act. Consider taking risks when talking about online.

in order for you to crack a hacker, he must initially hunt for your data. Just so no one will be interested in you or your information will not go to a stranger. There must be interest.

you need to keep in mind the probability of hacking your wallet. Of course, it's terrible to lose money!

I think everyone do afraid of Hackers.
Nobody wants to give their Crypto Assets away to someone we don't know, right?
Hackers, if you're not careful would steal all your Crypto Assets without your permission and because they penetrated your computer, they could simple hijack your prove keys and when they have it - they are going to login using your keys and take everything from your wallet and send them all to their wallets and after than you can do nothing about it and you couldn't take them back.
The only disadvantage is the owner of every wallets is difficult to trace neither the person or the location.
Now, it's better safe than sorry that's why most Crypto Holders are using hardware wallets to keep their wallets safe and secure.

The moment you wake up the you're trying to check your wallet and everything is gone then you'll feel like it's the end of the world.
Yes, we all do afraid of Hackers because they can take every single token you have and transfer them all to their wallets. And nobody want that to happen that's why wee to be careful on using our computers on using our keys and wallets because if your computer was being penetrated by viruses that which opens a back door for their advantage then they could take everything inside your computer.
And that's our worst nightmare.
Protect your keys, protect your wallets and don't let them get your Crypto Assets because it's our hard-earned money also.

And the conclusion There is only one, after such problems there will be no legal consequences with respect to this or that person who will use your personal data and steal your money from your wallet. Especially when the crypto currency is legally not yet protected and legalized.

I believe as long as you know how to manage the security in your personal devices, it should not be a big issue to prevent yourself from falling victim against an attack by a hacker, never download any software from suspicious website as it might contain malware or key-logger that are able to get hold of important information from your personal devices.

afraid of hackers must be felt by everyone, especially if someone is in online jobs and store assets online, but it should not be used as a concern because we can be careful and every hacker there must be weaknesses. so I do not feel too afraid of hackers.

We don't have much security from websites that generate our wallet aside from 2FA and email verification there is no strict security that can provide us more assurance that our balances is in good hands. The true responsibilities are still in our own hands. Let's be careful and vigilant from phishing sites and emails that we don't expect to receive and suddenly pop-up in our inbox.

You just need to follow basic security rules and everything will be fine. Hackers adapt therefore you need to be on the alert. Don't go on other different unfamiliar links, don't keep everything in one place, never show your private keys to anyone. Wherever there is a 2 factor identification you need to install. In general, not so all is terrible if you are prepared

Yes very much, one moment you have lots of BTC in your account, the other moment you can have none. It might get hacked. When hackers can hack exchanges which have much more security than individuals holding BTC in their wallet, there's a reason to be afraid of hackers. If one can come up with a solution to curtail these hacking bitcoin and other alt coins can go a long way

Everything you say is right, but I will like to add something very important: "Don't brag about your good holdings. How much did you win and how much do you hold. Keeping low profile is crucial in my opinion, because if you become a target, nothing can safe you."

Truthfully I am afraid of hackers, because they do so many damages to once life through their bad acts, therefore one need to be so careful in surfing the internet and with the choices of browsers you choose. Also, over the years hackers have done so many damages like hacking into once cryptocurrency wallets, such as imToken, mew, Eidoo and many others.  With all these premises of mine,  I think it has proven hackers to be extremely dangerous even to the growth  of cryptocurrency  evolution  so far.

Of course I'm afraid of hackers, what kind of questions are they, I think that hackers are also afraid of hackers, because probably there is a hacker for every hacker, they are also people, just very smart people, of course it's worth being afraid of hackers, but I think that this should serve as motivation to being more attentive.
