Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

Whose not afraid of hackers when you have large amount of coins in your wallet? Hackers wont give you back your coins once they stole them. In order for you to protect your assets agianst hackers, better open website in safe mode. Have some security softwares like anti virus, malware or the like. Install a good protection on your computer. Erase some unnecessary data in your internet and do not easily fall in big rewards that requires your information.

It's absolutely normal to be afraid of someone that can steal all your money; for this we need to take any possible measure to avoid bad consequences.

We all do. We just need to be extra careful of our wallets credentials as not to be victimized. Never keep all your assets in one wallet. As much as possible set a limit to how much each wallet should contain. In that way, when there is hacking, you might lose some value but at least not all. Don't store anyn wallet info online as well. Have a usb instead.

No, it's not. I didn't afraid of hackers, and probably most of the people too. Why? because I'm not lazy and educated. I'm sure a simple security that we put in our habit and our PC will prevent us from being hacked. Truth is why people worried is because they are lazy to put a good security suggestion and uneducated about how to deal something precious online.

Smiley Smiley Yes ofcourse. Lossing for all our works. At one seconds.

I loss mine before, I was a victim of hackers before.. I loss all my token on etherwallet.
But after that, I learn more things on how to protect my etherwallet..
By inserting some stuff / google chrome extensions. Using metamask ... metacert extension, etheraddresslookup, and doing bookmarks..

Practically speaking all of Us are afraid of hackers because this people doing illegally motives they did it to benefits for their own interest, I am totally afraid because we do our all effort in how many years or in long time to earned money but suddenly hackers stolen in just a single of a minutes how afraid is it your money lost in just a moment its so sad. In that matter hackers will do anytime but we do also an extra carefull and not to give any details or sign up to anonymous sites in any social media to avoid with the hackers.

hackers are certainly frightening because it becomes a threat. but it looks like it's not to worry about anymore because most sites are now using a secure blockchain security system and are difficult to break down the hacker.

Ofcourse you are going to afraid and scared because you can not tell how skillful hackers nowadays they can hack anything if they realy want . The best solution is to secure and make sure for safe browsing . But some sites are now more secure and protected from hackers and it was difficult for them to hack this sitr but i am not saying that there is no possibilities that hackers can hack. We know that some hacker have more potential and skill than other experts.

With the recent cryptocurrency exchanges being hacked, everyone should be afraid of hackers.  Look out for the Hacken Project, the platform is a much needed one in this industry.  They are currently offering smart contracts audits and the Legolas Project has hired Hacken for this service.

It can be a heart break for any crypto guys if any kind of hacking happened and someone stole their crypto coins. Specially for new guys who are doing bounties. Their hard work will be all lost. So I think as you become somewhat financially stable should should go for a hardware wallet.

technology is constantly getting stronger. the flow of information to the crypto money market is constant. transactions are carried out on the internet. so security vulnerability can occur. it is impossible not to be afraid of hackers.

Well yes of course, it is always my biggest fear in crypto. However since I have got my Ledger Wallet Nano S I fell slightly safer no in the fact that nobody will be taking my money too easily. It is a great mechanism that is keeping your MEW wallet safe and also a great method of storing crypto (ETH, BTC) rather than on an exchange which may lose vital liquidity

I am not really concerned by hackers as far as mt BTCs are concerned since I have safely stored them inside my Nano Ledger. This is what I'd recommend everybody to do. To store them inside my Nano Ledger. Wink

Who the hell who don't afraid of hackers? Of course I do!
Hackers will take away  your Crypto Assets without our permission and when that day comes I don't know what would happen to me because holding Crypto Assets that's worth more than $30,000 is a blessing and if it will suddenly gone because someone hacked my wallet then what we're supposed to do? nothing, right?
There are so many investors were hacked so it's time to protect our wallets from hackers by avoiding using other people's laptop, don't use public or unsecured wifi, install anti-virus and firewall in order outside attackers cannot penetrate your computer etc.
Hackers couldn't take anything from you if only you're responsible.

Most of the time hackers aren't penetrating your computer but instead they're attacking the Crypto Exchange sites and when you still have coins in that particular exchange sites then you're unlucky because hackers could take all of the coins  on that site and leave you nothing.
There are reportedly hacks and attacks recently and clients are loosing their money after that so better withdraw the coins if you're not doing more trading to prevent that kind of event to be happen.
Your hard-earned money will be gone because of them.
