Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
The best thing to do here is to get a hardware wallet. Or move all your loing term bitcoin holding into a paper wallet, and use a air gapped system to make this paper wallet. If your system was ever connected to internet, then it is definitely vulnerable to getting hacked.

I am, that's why I use MacBook. I mean, i know that they are too hard to be hacked and my computer has kept me secure these days. Maybe I am wrong, but I have not come up with any risks yet. I also don't keep sensitive info on my daily usage PC, so that hackers can stay away from that.  Wink On the other hand, I have to be more secure, as I am going to run a digital wallet with some coins in it.  Smiley

Many complain hacked myetherwallet. But deliberately hacked only the rich. Many themselves are guilty of.  No need to store the keys on the computer or in the cloud. Print the key on paper. Check on the website to avoid the phishing page. Go to the wallet using the Keystore.

Of course everyone is afraid to be hacked. Just take some precautionary measures to prevent from being hacked.

Some ways to prevent a Hacking:

1. Use incognito when browsing. I find it safe when using incognito because the cookies that usually saved in your browser is immediately deleted when you exit it.

2. Watch out for phishing sites. Most of the time, phishing site are almost identical to the original but the domain is a different from the original.

3. Avoid opening your online wallet for too long. If you don't usually open your wallet, it is safe to print a paper wallet to store your private key.

4. Don't give up your personal information so easily! Your identity can be stolen and can be used for crimes!

Yes I am afraid of hackers and I think everyone also afraid of hackers because they always tried to steal your tokens/coins from your account. To avoid this always install a good antivirus and anti malware software on your system and use secure browsing of them. Your private key never share to anyone in any manner or on any unsecured site to prevent your account from hackers

I raised my hand here. Hacking is an act of stealing which was done in the cyberworld. Imagine on working hard on something and somebody just took it from you. Really it is very very frustrating. I hope this hackers will be hack as well.

I am really afraid of hackers, because they can do everything to steal our money and disappear. One more thing that make me afraid is that I cant fight them back.
Yes, you always need to fear a hacker, most of them are merciless, can cause great harm to you(if they want to) , mysterious , with secret agendas.Hacking is developing, day by day, reaching new heights, that means.

always wondered how the sites are delivering such exact figures right up to a percentage. I myself am not strong in cybersecurity, but in fact there are many ways to get access to your coins

this is the only reason people don't trust putting their money in cryptocurrency. Scams and fraud are increasing day by day. So you should take precautions against these threat. This is good that it didn't happen with us but soon we will be under their threat, than we dont have any option to recover our money. We should have provide legal document to secure our investment.

I thought i will be stopping to do cryptos but i've realize it will be a wasted opportunity if i do so. But till now i've continue doing and be extra careful to all transaction i am doing as of now.

People have to be careful in this crypto space, try as much as possible not to register anywhere there is hype and give out your information, most importantly secure your private keys so that no one has access to them except you and do not store them on your pc, one does not have to be afraid of hacker, but should be cautious.

People should use safer browsing habit and along with that should diversify their bitcoin and altcoin holdings in as many places as possible.
Exchanges, online wallets and hot wallets in gambling sites.
