Learn to distinguish them. There are many guides, tips and sharing experiences on the Internet. So go ahead. From myself, I will add only what is hard to find, and this: view the cryptocurrency code on github, check the team for realism, as well as experience with large projects and try to calculate the amount needed for this project. If their amount is more or less (much) then you should refuse.

There are many criteria on which I personally select the bounty before I participate. Among them, the first thing to check is the project, the documentation and the team. This is the main things

Of course u can never be 100% sure, that the bounty is legit until u get ur reward, but u can search a little bit about the ICO. Read the WP, see the ann threat, check the community and so on...

You are right, usually a fake ico only creates the original thread only without the completeness of the website, team or roadmap, if you find it then move away from it

In fact, it is very difficult and even experienced members of the bounty get on scam, because in this case one can never be sure of the campaign on 100 percent.

Unfortunately, there is not much to do, also because many ICO - and related boun ties - are not born as scams, but with honest intentions.
Then, simply, they fail to achieve their goals and don't pay the collaborators..

Just need to do the same like you invest your money in ICO.
Carefully check the project, its team (it`s important), roadmap, and social activity and communication with crypto-community
If I see, for example, ignore in Telegram group or thread, or some other suspicious things,I won`t choose this project and start to check other

I do not believe there are false ICOs; more likely there are ICOs badly designed and poorly managed, which do not reach their goals and therefore are a waste of time for those who promoted them.

Accept your losses and walk away, and try to be smarter with the next one. Go for projects with real team and backing.

it is very difficult to distinguish between fake bounty and the not.
maybe you can make sure the developers, teams and managers who hold the project. but sometimes bounty can be a scam because the coin d sale is not in accordance with the target.
But if you already follow fake bounty you should just take it and next time be careful. make as a lesson in the future

I first choose a truted and well known bounty manager
then I take a look at their website and check team managers with google.
Then I take a look at social media.
If everything is ok I partecipate in bounty.

As of now, I believe there's no governing those unethical acts. We don't have anything to do but to just to avoid them. As of now there's a company called cryptoPolice they are planning to police the crypto world. I hope they will be successful both in ICO and Implementation.

It is very easy to identify fake ICOs, you can understand this as soon as you look at their web-page and whitepaper.

My friend its not easy to trace fake ICO's because they make their ICO as usual like a legit. But when we knows the background of their team this is our basis to be good on choosing good ICO.

You should be careful to see ICO if you see ICO that makes you unsure immediately look for other ICO and do not need to hurry to find a good ICO ,, find ICO followed by many people and good luck.

First thing i look at is bounty manager, if its a new account you should procede very very carefully, newbee as well, if its a legendary member than i would give it some more trust, BUT i just had a scam ICO with a legendary bounty manager, so even that is not 100%

before you sign up for the first got Bounty-a campaign that promises you fabulous wealth, you have to approach the project from the point of view of the investor, because even though you do not invest money, but you are investing on their own and time, which is the same resource as the money.
