I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
You just to have to do researach as hard as you can and thats it. There have been big ICOs which turned out to big SCAMS like TBAR which managed to lie to a lot of people.

Before get in a bounty first do a own research about team and check telegram and roadmap whitepaper. You need to do a lot of research in how to pick good ICO's over these bunch of scam ICO's. Do your Own Research It is a must again and again. Do the same research as you would do for the investment, before you joint the bounty. It's like you're going to work for the company, you just make sure it's legit first. It is normal that you encounter fraud campaigns. We cannot 100% avoid that because there are some ICOs that looks promising yet it is a scam. Experience comes with time and work. You have to accept that this is like a raffle to join only reduce your own risk by doing quality research.

For me, I avoid joining on bounty campaigns with a manager that is using a low rank like newbie or jr. member because that is what I experienced. The manager are scamming the effort of the bounty hunters.

If you can't get the coins for the bounty mission, you don't have any way to deal with it, you can only increase the judgment of the project to make sure that there is no such thing, or you can find a more reputable bounty manager.

Well lets move on because there is nothing we can do with those fake ICO's and bounties since it takes some time, money and effort to pursue a complain against those team behind the ICO. Moving on the best thing to do. Anyway there are some individual especially those investors or group of investors who had invested on their project might file a complain against those team and if they are unfortunate they will be landed on jail.

Well, try to check their whitepaper and roadmap before participating a bounty campaign because some are just copying the whitepapers of other ICO's and you could check Amazix they are the legit bounty managers I could suggest.

It is easy to get involved in scam bounties, but the best way to stay away from scam bounties is to follow good bounty managers or bounty companies, I will recommend kryptical bounties and Amazix.

You could sue the company. Honestly, I believe this is probably gonna cost you more than any benefit you could have.

You can not have a fore knowledge of how any projects will turn out, you can narrow your expectation to few guidelines that will protect you to a large extent! If you are victim of scam you also can report or create a thread at the reputation section of the forum!

Its is really difficult to differentiate whether it is good ICO or scam. But we can avoid some scam by searching by following method. Check each team member linkedin account whether they really promoting their projects or not. and check telegram group. if they dont have real team just assume that they are scam. do not trust high discount project ICO.

I think before you join on bounty just read it carefully their whitepaper or their project about, and when you join already if you have a doubt don't think twice just leave it immediately. Don't wait for the others opinion or they says that its a scam. But the best you can do when you want to join is you have to know if who is the manager and if what is their rank.

there is one way to know which bounty is scam or not. That is researching and reading so much. besides white papers, you also read review newspapers to choose exactly.

When it is proven that an ICO is fake, it should be reported to the forum moderator. Scammers should not be tolerated. When no team members identification nor where they are from and their expertise, this ICO is more suspicious than support. I hope each ICO team should have verification first before offering a bounty. By this will help to prevent the scam. I'm very pleased with other ICOs that they really prove that they are not scam.

A very good topic before starting to perform tasks on the company's bounty, read about the crypto project, see who leads the bounty company, on the basis of the information received, make a decision.

Now it becomes very difficult, at first glance, analyzing the project, we see a good team of developers and a similar project concept, and as a result, at the end of the ICO, we learn that it was a Scam project. Because of this, I cease to believe that the bounty or investment can earn

If you're lucky the coins will be listed on an exchange before the team disappeared so you can quickly cash out, otherwise you're either left with worthless tokens or simply gutted from wasting all that time. Happens to lots of bounty hunters so don't feel too bad

It happens very often in this business, I mean Fake (Scam) ICO or bounty. If you took part of fake bounty it is not so bad as if you took part in fake ICO, in the bounty you spent only your time, What to do? maybe nothing - try another bounty program. But If you met fake ICO that means you lost your money((((
