Well, basically these media is fed and paid by people who are trying to manipulate the system by mentally and/or emotionally attacking the users. The tendency of media's spreading negativity about the industry contributes to emotional and mental breakdown to its audience in result users are starting to panic and sell their coins. It's quite a strategy put up by powerful people to gain more profit on their behalf without thinking about others.

I think the main reason is they want people to discourage to invest in bitcoin, because they paid by the banks or the government officials. The government is the one who command and tell to the media to spread the negative news. Those people are believe only without knowledge about btc, and when they heard news they think twice to invest and this this is why btc price is falling because of afraid when heard information. But i think not all media against about bitcoin.. We don't know if what they are intention really is, but others is paid by the banks also so that they news a negative. Not all people believe in negative that what media news, especially to those already who are invested.

Media has been very biased about bitcoin, they have showed the negative side instead of showing how bitcoin could be a good benefit for netizens, the media has narrowed us about bitcoin, this is one of the many reasons people are avoiding bitcoin, their first impression about bitcoin is "scam", and I'm not gonna lie but there are lots of scammers inside the web, but as cybersecurity keeps on getting better I think there is no need to fear about investing, trading, or mining on digital coins, cryptocurrency will definitely be the future, but as of now, let's keep moving forward.

I think they are just using situation, we all know that bad news are more interesting then good news, and bad news travel faster. Sensational titles attract people, mostly like on this forum, you see one headline, but topic has nothing or very little with that headline. You first think let's see this, who knows what is there let's check it, and in most case's there is nothing smart inside. That is why I don't read newspaper anymore, most of them are like tabloids. Old holders were talking about it years ago when I was newbie here, buy bitcoin, don't read any news, don't trust anyone who talks good or bad about bitcoins, just hold and watch your business, don't care about others and their endless spam.

You must understand that the majority of the media is controlled by the same powers that control the western central banking system. Bitcoin being a finite, decentralized, transparent system is inherently against the current centralized private banking regime. As such, there are countless articles that cast negativity on Bitcoin, but fail to make any strong arguments. These articles are propaganda at best. It is crucial to read critically during these times.
Yes the article is countless and its strong enough sometime to build panic. The panic goes to higher then many user sell their asset. This is the effect of the news of the media. |

Media is like an advertising agency for government, banks and who ever pays for it, there is no true in their advertisement as news spread to people. They don't know what is Bitcoin or any matter but will say as per what the paid person request to say to the mass. Some people are getting panic due to their advertisement news and most people who have knowledge on Bitcoin would ignore such media news.

It is not only the media about bitcoin but there are so other people who are against the bitcoin like in the past month the big whales of bitcoin have said that the bitcoin is dead and they are not more existed the bitcoin users have lost hope and they did sell their bitcoin due to which the bitcoin supply high and the price of bitcoin fall due to this news they have noticed a good time for the buying and they buy bitcoin for a price less than the normal.

Medias are not really against cryptocurrency but there are companies behind those black propaganda's who are creating bad news in order to reduce the investors of bitcoins. Most of them are banks because it is affecting their business since cryptocurrency is more profitable more than placing your money on banks and setting it on time deposit. |

Media was not against bitcoin, media is only a medium or a tool to use for information, communication and entertainment. The only thing that against bitcoin is also the human who are afraid of what bitcoin have, they are the one who make the laws and news that are against the bitcoin. |

Vested interest. Good or bad news, if a lot of people would bite the article then it is good for them. They are only interested on the profits they would gain if people will buy the article. That is why we need to UP our game when it comes to updating ourselves with what is new and legitimate from what is clearly not. Otherwise, we always end up lounging at their own whims, at their own terms. This FACT has bugged me for quite a long time now. They filter so much of what they are broadcasting in national television and writing about in papers. I am most concerned for the new generation because they are so naive in believing all about these news which are all over social media AND that are mainly aimed at protecting private interests. Hence, I think governments should enact measures to protect the youth from being used as vehicles to enable these wrongful ploy/mechanisms. Nonetheless, how is the latter possible when even governments are mostly composed of people who are only interested to protect their own? There is just too much politics in this world I could burst. |

Maybe because they've got the wrong information about it, wrong concept, and also they were sometimes being manipulated by someone higher than they are and just want to publish what they want and abolish who did not in favor with them.. this can happen.. but on the other hand those who do well in broadcasting about bitcoin benefited from it, they got to know what it is, and at the same time awaken the interest of people to look on bitcoin and what the use of it... not all the news we hear are true we should be responsible as well in screening them out whether they're telling the truth or not.

Probably, so far the things that appear in society about bitcoin is something negative. That's because the government's onslaught through the media makes negative news about bitcoin. for some reason, whether they have not understood this technology, or they just sentiment to bitcoin, or maybe if there is an institution like the government that wants to try to take advantage of such situations . |

the media today is easily influenced by the government or by individuals who want to benefit from bitcoin. government and a trader can have full media by making issues related to bitcoin so media can be used to make bitcoin prices down. they have the opportunity to be able to buy bitcoins at cheap prices and save in large quantities. when the issue is over they will sell.
so now the media is used for the purpose of earning profit from among those who have interests in a country.

I do not think that the mass media deliberately spread negative information about Bitcoin. In most cases, they try to be objective and lead a different point of view. However, there are cases of deliberately spreading bad information about bitcoin, they really serve the government and their officials more.

At this time the media has no interest in explaining, educating the masses about bitcoin and blockchain technology. Whoever gets their media information will never invest in crypto. The media is against bitcoin, but I think it will come a day when it will have to accept this reality.

I think running down the price in order to buy in cheaper is part of it. I also think that running down cryptocurrencies is a way of resisting it because financial institutions hate change. To allow society to embrace blockchain technology means the traditional financial institutions have to adapt, and that's going to take some hard work. For the past few decades they've been able to just coast. I can see them not wanting to give that up so soon. |
