You have said it all, most people criticize what they like in the public but at the dark or corner they worship such things. The government and the media are bird of the same colors they react the same.  Another fact is that some times they are paid by the government for such announcement,so they have to do there job to earn there little fees.

This is a trend guys, just like a market trend. If media is paid by others to promote/depromote bitcoin, they do what they were told to do so. Don't expect them to publish normal news all the time.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

Not all medias are really negative about cryptocurrency. The only reason why black propaganda's are being created by media's is because they are being payed to do that, even televisions are creating fake stories to decrease the investors of bitcoins. Just believe on cryptocurrency if you really thing that there's a bright future behind it.

It's true that not all media is negative, but some media focus on collecting all kinds of information about the cryptocurrency market, then they often exaggerates a lot of FUD.

This is because medias are owned by people from the old system, such as stock investors, bankers, etc. Bitcoin is indeed a threat to their financial supremacy, so they do all they can to shot it down, not very successfully for now Grin !

while the crypto currency is a new trend, I think the media smells a good thing for makes a lot of money and they makes some news and some of the news makes people panic. this is why that the media keep doing this because I am sure that they could make a panic for new people which joined in the crypto currency. but I don't think that they can keep doing this because I am sure that people could prevent the bad news that might be makes them panic.

Media sells more with the negative news so they just come with fake news to get popularity. They don't know what they're doing

I think all these news have some political undertones. Most people are using political powers to bring Bitcoin down so that their businesses can also grow. Most politicians, knowing the impact of the media, then tend to influence the media to cause panic in order to achieve their goal.

In the society we leaving today, only bad things make news and the only way for the media houses can keep selling is to dive into any negative happening to make headlines. Cryptocurrencies are the order of the day and the media is very interested in bitcoin most especially so any time there is a negative turn in bitcoin the media will take advantage.

It's not necessarily negative. Mainstream media will publish anything that will produce shock value and generate interest. They live of page clicks and tv ratings. I've seen on CNBC headline "why bitcoin will go to $100,000" and "bitcoin will go to zero" on the same page. They just want to cause controversy which will make people talking, and cover as many stories as possible. True, some media has agenda slightly leaning in one direction, other in the opposite, but in most cases, and among most popular outlets, they only care about their own viewership and income, not necessarily about the subject.

Simply because media got no idea about the concept of bitcoin. What they care about is just plain business and earn money with their job. It doesn't matter for them whether they make fake news or real news because what important for them is just to earn money. Media is connected to powerful people who wants to spread whatever they want by paying them.

Media has to have a story and bitcoin is one that they have followed for a few years whether it's its surge in price or as soon as it goes down any amount. Unfortunately many listen to the media without making their own informed choices.
Its not just media that is negative to bitcoin even on this forum there can be a fair amount of negative comments about bitcoin.

Media always perceives the information they've want to imply to people. I think it is just a matter of media information manipulation where media always send the information to people as they want to control the movement of the cryptocurrency in the market. It is much easier for them to manipulate the people if they will control the minds and their perspective to bitcoin.

we do not have to worry about the media because they just write what the current issues are and it has become their job to write interesting news and be everyone's conversation.

Media now is prone to very prone to negative comments, sometimes, they would keep their eyes onto negative comments and they would publicized and it would be more trending than the positive comments about bitcoin, the media doesnt hate bitcoin, its the people using it.

It's very simple, the media will only report malicious reports, they don't have bitcoin, they can't see that we bought bitcoin and made money, and the news in the media is mostly eyeball.

I think that it's because media is controlled by the big shots ..the businesses men's and the bankers ..
They are not that much profited by the Bitcoins thus they try to show the negative side of the cryptocurrencies.. more or so.. no matter what example you take...when something comes new in the market the negative criticism is well sold ..

I guess its human nature to hate things which is difficult to understand.Yeah i know thats some real deal psychology...thanks.
Media always runs out of topic and they just need something to criticize and a big cryptocurrency like bitcoin is more than enough for them.
