Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins. the media earn money with news that provoke panic or very enthusiastic, in short... the media make money publishing news that has a big impact. Did you see when the bitcoin price was $18,000 what happened? all news channels were talking well of bitcoin, if today the news channels are talking bad bitcoin is because they need news that have some impact. if you do not have great good news about bitcoin, then the media will post bad news. get used to it because this is something that happens with everything that is popular (in this case, bitcoin is popular) What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?
well I've answered these questions and just to add: imagine that tomorrow you become the only person on the planet with superpowers, you would be on the cover of the newspaper every day and the critics would surpass the compliments That is actually the job of media. They are looking for the best news that would catch the interest of the people. Since Bitcoin is found very interesting by a lot of people, because of its rising popularity. Media is following whatever news they got involving bitcoin whether it is good or bad, or even just a mere speculation. |

Not all the time that media's are always on the side of the government. There are times that medias are bias with their government and they are the only medium to express the feelings of the people. But what's on my mind here is that these media's are also manipulated by big companies that wants to spread negative ideas about bitcoin. And the main reason of it there's a potential that bitcoin can kill their business. |

Media depending on the owner, I think if the media preach negative things about bitcoin then it is because media owners do not like and hate with bitcoin or do not want to take risks because of the fact bitcoin get banned from almost all countries.

It is not the media that hate bitcoin. Media is just a medium where you can relay news may it fake or true. Media is making a negative news about bitcoin because somebody who is powerful and rich enough to manipulate media. They are paid to create fear that causes the price of bitcoin to fall. That is what i am thinking. |

You must understand that the majority of the media is controlled by the same powers that control the western central banking system. Bitcoin being a finite, decentralized, transparent system is inherently against the current centralized private banking regime. As such, there are countless articles that cast negativity on Bitcoin, but fail to make any strong arguments. These articles are propaganda at best. It is crucial to read critically during these times.
Yes it is true that you are talking about btcoin in the world of the internet, there is a story that tells the trees where the tree tree there fruit will not fall far from the tree, so the development of bitcoin, the more the problems that hit the bitcoin, both in terms of medsos or governance that will be a problem for bitcoin. |

There had been a number of online scam which run away with investors money. Seeing the huge returns involved with Bitcoins, it also looks suspicious to many. As a result, media tries to make people aware about Bitcoins as well. Only thing is that they need to do more research before coming up with the news as it affects the prices. Actually, Media only uses Headlines that can easily be sold. Wouldn't it be more sellable if you use a headline "Bitcoin a Scam" than to "The LN and whats the use of it." They tend to use negative news of bitcoin/Crypto because it generates more clicks for the readers. You have a point, I guess they were just creating a new topic so that they have a new article to tackle about. Maybe you were right that they tend to use negative news of bitcoin rather than to a positive one because it is more captivating. Some of media company just want a profit and they don't care if their works is factual or not. They only know is the shallow part of cryptocurrencies but they don't know the true meaning and purpose of this thing. |

Well because they are biased. They did not do some research first before going to their reports. Some media are even controlled by big companies or banks. Those who will greatly affected by the legalization of bitcoin. |

I think they find bitcoin negative because many people in media says that bitcoin is a scam, so other people will actually think it is because they don't really know anything about bitcoin. Maybe they do this because, they have no idea what they can get or learn here in bitcoin, they just believe what other people would saya and this is one of the things that i hate about people. |

I also do not think why they do that ..
whether just to lower the price of bitcoin and they will buy cheaply, but that's their job looking for news although the news is sometimes far from the truth,
and now bitcoin like enemy to the media.

Maybe because they don't really know the idea about bitcoin, and there are only few that really know about this cryptocurrency or probably they are afraid of change,because i do believe that bitcoin will grow and the national transaction is on digital term... that's why I think that bitcoin is negative on media .

Media are looking for sensation everywhere. Bad news is better for the media because they increase viewership. Besides, someone finances the media and does not necessarily have an interest to have a good talk of bitcoinie.

Media always runs out of topic and they just need something to criticize and a big cryptocurrency like bitcoin is more than enough for them.
I can agree with this even though if it’s just a psychological theory. I have noticed that most people hate on things they are unfamiliar with or lack knowledge on - and this doesn’t only apply with crypto related matters. There are even some critics who give out negative remarks about bitcoin even when they do not fully understand it. People are afraid of change and a coping mechanism for them with things that are foreign is to attack them. |

Media can control anything and many thing goes uncontrolled by this media also. This is not the fault of media, people behind the media is responsible for this. There may many thing available for this. We know that there is no relation between any bank and bitcoin and by using bitcoin people don’t need to pay too many fees and banking system losses their benefit for that.
So they may want to decrease the popularity of bitcoin and want to back these people to their banking system. Government also don’t look with bless at bitcoin so that media can attention of government by spreading negative news of bitcoin. Don’t take a decision by emotion. You should deal with this type of coin by observing yourself with the main site of these coin. Don’t panic, just keep cool.

We are at the moment in a big global shift from middle age to digital age Media is at the service of who pay them to say that stay in midlle age is better than enter in the digital age Digital age is unknown and dangerous...fear, fomo, all staff that served during a lot of time, and if we do not start to think with our own criteria it is gonna be the same as ever. Bitcoin is free from censorship and it is the target of central powers It is normal that most of media is against it, because most of media is at the service of central power. I do not think that they do this so they can invest on Bitcoin and make profit. I think that governments are behind media and they ask them to do such things because obviously governments are against cryptocurrency and bitcoin since spreading fake news and panic is the best way to fight Bitcoin... And another thing is that Bitcoin is trending now, so making "click-bait" articles about it will get them alot of money from the traffic they'll be getting.. |

My theory is some bigtime capitalist is controlling these media groups to convey black propaganda against bitcoins to veer away investors from bitcoins and instead in stocks. Genuine concern is rare specially in the media. So take this with a grain of salt; rich people who knows nothing about bitcoins hate bitcoins. |

Black propaganda can cause one company down if they want to. They only judge what other say but don't know the real story and real information about Bitcoin. Even they say and write negative publicity about Bitcoin people still support it because we are wiser than media is. |
