Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?

I often read news about bitcoin in newspaper and television media, they mostly think that bitcoin is a dangerous thing so we are given an announcement not to use bitcoin. I'm pretty upset because I think that bitcoin has a lot of benefits. People who think negative about bitcoin I think that they are not familiar with bitcoin clearly. What I regret now is that the media has a very strong role, with the dissemination of information very quickly and widely then it is likely to be a lot of people who are easy to be influenced.

Honestly to get attention. It's a hot topic and these kinds of news gets the most attention. People are mostly interested in "shocking" news . Things that are out of the ordinary.... and cute kittens.

The media is just an intermediary to report opinions from someone who I think is not so true. The media think bitcoin is negative that because they just want to gain popularity from people to be more famous again. But the news they spread was not very accurate.

This is actually a good question. I think the media is just trying to educate the masses on the good and bad side of crypto. When BTC was going up, the media was reporting this and this led to more people buying. In the same token, when prices start to drop the media will report the same. It is the nature of the industry. When there is a good news and a bad news, the bad news appears to spread more and people tend to listen a lot. There is also a positive news going around in many countries but it is of a very small volume. When a government starts recognizing openly cryptocurrency then things will change in many countries. But that is difficult because the state wishes to control the economy to run the country which is fair on its part. What we are aspiring is a free market without any central control of our cryptocurrency.

I remembered watching a short video about media brainwashing. Negative news is more attention-catcher rather than some good news. Because it has more impact and that's how their brain works. Media are been saying negative to bitcoin because of hear say or they feel bad to it because they really dont understand how bitcoin works out and how it is important to all the user of bitcoin.And the main reason of some medias are some of the government doesnt allow bitcoin to their country.Because they think it gives bad effect to them.

Actually it is not the media who are negative about Bitcoin, it is the people behind media, the people who paid the media to spread negative news about it. There are people who wants to control the price of Bitcoin by spreading FUD and fake news. Some of them wanted the price to go down so that they can buy it on a cheaper price while some of them wanted to destroy Bitcoin.

Spread of false news in the media to harass or to drop the bitcoin they want bitcoin prices to go down so they can buy bitcoin at a very cheap price or just they want to destroy bitcoin. Most likely people who spread fake news are mostly smart in managing the market to get what they want so they plan to spread fake news so they can buy bitcoins at cheap prices then they will sell back at a high price.

In my own opinion there's a 2 reason why medias making negative or fake news about bitcoin because 1. They are one of the huge investors in the crypto market and they want to earn more profit by making false news about bitcoin so other investors will panic and they can buy more in dup. and 2. They are one of the competitors of the bitcoin industry and bitcoin are destroying their business.
Like in our local country medias are connected into the politics that making a fake news about other politicians or anything belong in corruptions.

It's very simple, the media will only report malicious reports, they don't have bitcoin, they can't see that we bought bitcoin and made money, and the news in the media is mostly eyeball.

Some of the media report about false news or talk about  negative of bitcoin. Because they dont know the importants of this project for the future. Media is always the counter on many aspects , media said that bitcoin is scam and always or "JUST" using for an illegal stuffs , and probably lack of understanding and knowledge throughout bitcoin industry.
