Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?

The media generally is always positive. Negativity causes more clicks and more views. Also people working in the media might regret not having bought BTC earlier and just hate on BTC itself.

or.... there's some real conspiracies going on, who knows though, I'd be agnostic about it.

From this I can conclude to say that negativity in form of fake news tends to bring in more traffic for online news sites and at times this could be a marketing strategy for these media platforms to get noticed but AFAIK cryptos have reliable news channels so no need to be affected by this negative news.

I believe that there are some government personnel behind this issue. Governments really hate bitcoin or cryptocurrencies because they cannot get some tax on cryptocurrencies, they want their people to use fiat, so that they can get tax from the people.

The price of bitcoin is soaring and like stock market and foreign exchange, a lot of people are tempted to risk what they have a grab of riches. However, media are skeptical and not pro about it because they think that NOBODY IS IN CHARGE and governing it.

Most media that are committed to spreading negative rumors against bitcoin are not really recognized for specializing in cryptocurrency-related topics, but find it easy to join the most popular trends, especially when they are sponsored by governments or centralized financial systems. Therefore I have learned that the larger the criticism against bitcoin, the more convenient it is to buy it.

As I am living in India and here BTC is still not considered as a trust worthy mode to invest in. In India BTC is still considered as a fraud and even government is demotivating people not to invest into BTC and they even declared that they are not responsible for any loses regarding bitcoin and yes media is playing a negative role because BTC is the future of finance and everyone should invest into BTC, so media should encourage about BTC and should advertise it in proper way.

For me, maybe it is just because of the "STEREOTYPICAL MIND" of many people in bitcoin. In my own experience, I told my friends about bitcoin and the first thing that comes to their mind is that it is an illegal thing and it is used for crimes, I just cant imagine how they can tell that if they have no experience in it. In addition to that, many people say that it is used only for underground services, illegal selling of drugs and machinery and many more negative comments about bitcoin. Maybe because they don't really know the idea about bitcoin, and there are only few that really know about this cryptocurrency or probably they are afraid of change,because i do believe that bitcoin will grow and the national transaction is on digital term... that's why I think that bitcoin is negative on media .

This will be dependent on the company, if decided to be in favor with Bitcoins they probably advertise it but if not it is easy for them to make some news in favor with them.
And according to your statement about doing it for money there is so many ways for them to make money compared in having it producing news that is favor with them and not with Bitcoins.

We shouldn't be surprised that the media are negative in relation to Bitcoin. There are many reasons that affect it. Starting from the fact that the media are dependent on the government and, as you know, the government depends on the control of citizens and that's what banks allow them to do, and that is why the government wants citizens to store their assets in banks. In my opinion, media is not negative or positive about Bitcoin, but simply spreads exactly those news that are needed to pump or dump the crypto market. This just a big game of news around the crypto.

This is very true this is paid media out here, which has sold itself to the government and the rich businessman.

Media or any news will become boring if you are just reporting the positive news, people can easily forget it or just ignore what you  they are saying and will swift to other channel, so they are creating a story sad to say a negative one so that people will become aware and would listen careful word by word until people will become panic.

Well I think they are not negative about bitcoin, the thing is they are exaggerating the risks involved in using cryptocurrencies and not stating the good effects of it to the people. They are always warning the audiences with exaggerated reasons not to invest.
